UHD Blu-rays with no master-display info

Some releases have no Mastering display info. One of them is Terminator 2: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=294361&page=229 For this movie DGIndexNV generates dgi file with --master-display "G(0,0)B(0,0)R(0,0)WP(0,0)L(0,0)" which produces in encoded videos in Mediainfo wrong data: Masterin...

Re: Feature Requests

Default undefined (not signaled)
https://x265.readthedocs.io/en/default/ ... -chromaloc
MediaInfo displays "Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0" in encoded movie, without Type 2 if chromaloc not set in x265.

Re: Feature Requests

DGDecNV slipstream 207:

* Added a line X265_CL to the bottom of the HEVC index file (for HDR PQ streams) containing command line
parameters for x265.exe derived from the colorimetry, HDR metadata, and frame count. This line
can be cut and pasted to your x265 invocation. :salute: Boulder

Re: Feature Requests

I checked many HDR10 movies and everyone has "Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0 (Type 2)" in MediaInfo. Do you think X265_CL must contain one more option --chromaloc 2 ?

Re: Problem with sup files?

Theoretically longer dialogs can intersect if they have no pause with original timecodes. Is it possible?

Re: Problem with sup files?

I tested latest version 177 with two UHD disks. One has single m2ts, another has 37 files in playlist. eac3to and mkvtoolnix (create mkv and demux sup) failed with multifile disk - both has 2 sec delay at the end of video. Only DGindexNV did almost good. DGindexNV's sup files have correct starting t...

Please try out this version:

http://rationalqm.us/hdr/DGHDRtoSDR_1.11.rar

I added some hue correction for the gamut mapping. We'll never exactly match other solutions. What I am aiming for is reasonable results for most streams and fast processing in CUDA mode.
Awesome! Thanks!
