Given that the 2nd pass is doing the majority of the important stuff, I believe that one pass is sufficient for encoding most content (there will always be exceptions of course). 25fps seems pretty good for the 2nd pass in my book as I've had some encodes has were ~0.75fps (thanks to really complex ...

Would it be possible to use the cpu for motion search estimation and the gpu for the actual denoising? Sort of a cpu + gpu combo thing? OH COOL!!! I hope your first one will be a denoiser. Avisynth script denoisers can be painfully slow (like mc_spuds, MCTemporalDenoise, etc...).

There is one feature from DGMPGDec that I miss, the option info=3. It was very useful when used with colormatrix. Is there a possibility that this feature could be added to DGDecodeNV.
