Can you give the spec reference for the claim that audio must be longer? Thank you.

Thanks to gonca for helping. The poster hasn't shown up yet, however. Gosh, why wouldn't you go to the source for problems, especially when we are so responsive.

OK, I'm going to see if we can just repeat audio frames instead of deleting them. Trying to generate silence for all possible permutations of audio will be difficult.

Ouch. This is going to be tricky. This is the first case I've ever seen where there is extra video rather than extra audio per M2TS. My gaps correction assumes extra audio. I'm going to have to give this a big think to see if there is anything that we can do.

Beats me why people don't use my support forum and instead post at doom9 when they must know I don't have an account there. So if some kind soul could reply to the post below and ask the OP to post here I would be grateful. https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=2000820#post2000820 It could be tha...

Can you give me the disk for testing under fair use? If not, can you link me to where to purchase it?

I've started CUDA-izing it. But right now it's time-out for the final round of the chess world championship candidates tournament. It's gonna be either the Indian Gukesh, the Russian Nepomniatchi, or one of the Americans Nakamura or Caruana. I'll go out on a limb (not really so risky for a squirrel!...

GTX 1080 Ti HEVC Support?
Yeah, the 1080 Ti does not support HEVC 4:4:4. It works fine with HEVC 4:2:0 8-bit and 10-bit (and you've now confirmed that). I can't find reliable information when googling about it. As 1080Ti is reaching end of driver support anyway, if you need HEVC 4:4:4 you'll need to look at a more recent car...

GTX 1080 Ti HEVC Support?
Ah, 10-bit 4:4:4. I do support that in DGDecNV and theoretically the 1080 Ti supports it. I'll drag out my 1080 Ti machine from the closet and test it with your stream, which BTW, works fine with our RTX 2080Ti/3090/4090. Are you able to decode the 8-bit 4:2:0 version of the trailer?

GTX 1080 Ti HEVC Support?
1080 Ti should be fine. Is this happening in DGIndexNV or DGDecodeNV or both? What is your DGDecNV version and are you sure you are not picking up an older version in your plugins file? What is your nVidia driver version? Finally, can you show a mediainfo dump on the source file? Not all HEVC stream...

I added a mode "slinear" that does Chaikin 10/90% with 2 iterations and it looks great, if I do say so myself. ;) So we have linear, slinear, cubic, and hermite. Maybe for fun I'll see what GIMP is doing. EDIT: GIMP uses a cubic bezier. The code is complex so currently I don't see the need to match ...

OK, matrices, 16-bit, and drawing are done. I'll probably do the CUDASynth stuff before presets and frame ranges. But first, I have noticed that GIMP's curve drawing is not just a simple cubic/hermite spline. It's some kind of tensioned piecewise linear thing. I could check the source code but I fou...

Hehe, good day at the office. I discovered that it wasn't the RGB clipping that caused the horrible result. It was a widdle oversight in my code. Now the concept of YUV->RGB->apply curves->YUV is working great. So it's onward and upward! Still need to implement: * specification of matrix 601/709/202...

My solution is working great for the luma curve but there are issues with color. Now be aware that since this is going into DGSource() it must and only accepts YUV (aka YCbCr). So I thought, erm, all I have to do is convert to RGB, apply the RGB curves and convert back to YUV. What's the big deal? W...

If you're thinking of something specific, I read <edited, snip> dg tools aren't applicable in that scenario. Ubiquitous streaming availability make such things a silly proposition in any case :) After the snip I can't make any sense of this. I suppose youtube and netflix are the main sources of con...

No m8 it has no relevance for HDRAGC and curves-type stuff. I am still developing my own curves filter.
