Demuxed TrueHD doesn't decode correctly

Thank you. How did you skip the last M2TS when demuxing with eac3to?

Your DGDemux line is missing the -o option.

Sherm, the 49-909 doesn't use the Philco single-stage detector circuit (using the FM 1000 tube). It uses a conventional ratio detector circuit. Nevertheless, you did a great job on the restoration and it is sensitive, selective, and sounds great.

Demuxed TrueHD doesn't decode correctly

Something looks fishy. That MPLS has 00003.m2ts + 00012.m2ts. But your eac3to decode of the disk shows only 00003.m2ts. Also, the DGDemux log shows only 00003.m2ts. Please clarify and provide the correct MPLS file. If it really is 00001.mpls as you sent then please upload 00012.m2ts and 00012.clpi. ...

Demuxed TrueHD doesn't decode correctly

OK, I started with DGIndexNV to demux the THD from 00003.m2ts. Then I decoded it with your command without issues. D:\tmp\00003\DGIndexNV>D:\Don\Programming\Delphi\EAC3TO\eac3to 00003.thd 00003.w64 Running in fast mode Removing dialnorm TrueHD, 5.1 channels, 96kHz, dialnorm: -31dB Skipping TrueHD di...

Demuxed TrueHD doesn't decode correctly

Your code block for DGDemux contains the eac3to stuff. Can you correct that? What do you mean by "doesn't decode correctly"? How did you test it? Did you use the thd or the thd+ac3 for testing? How big is the M2TS and would you be willing to upload it to our FTP?

Thank you.

Thank you for your post, oniiz86 . FYI, tebasuna51 was banned because he publicly posted my private PM at another forum and then refused my polite request to remove it. One thing we do not tolerate here is unfriendliness. We've been selflessly (meaning: "in a way that is concerned more with the need...

Problem decoding 12bit 4:4:4 HEVC

OK, I have it fixed. Please re-download build 255 and give it a taste. When you confirm tastiness I will make an announcement.

I missed setting Vapoursynth subsampling to 0,0 for 4:4:4.

Works fine for Avisynth. I'll look into what's going wrong for Vapoursynth. Thank you for your report.

Color shifting issue - DGDecNV

Good to hear, thank you!

It's HDR HLG so you'll have to take that into account when comparing apps. For example, that could account for differences between DGIndexNV and DGDecodeNV.

8K too! I don't see too much of that. Saving to my streams database.

Color shifting issue - DGDecNV

Hello MeteorRain. Long time no see.

That's interesting. Please provide a short source sample and your avisynth script. Thank you.

If it works in DGIndexNV the chances of a fix are high.

Problem with multi-edition MKV creation

It's a field in the eac3 audio header: https://www.atsc.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/A52-201212-17.pdf You would have to add deeper parsing (down to ES level) in the M2TS parser. Sherman can help with that if you need it. Ask him in his M2TS parser thread. School starts today but maybe he can cran...

Corrupted decoding when using DGIndexNV

It fails in MPC-HC using both DXVA2 native and NVDec HW but not when HW is turned off. So it's not solely an NVDec issue. Some coding parameter must be exceeding HW limits. You'll need to try to identify which parameter is causing it. I am not sufficiently familiar with x265 to speculate on that. An...
