Re: DGDemux development
Hi, I would like to report two minor issues of the latest DGDemux 1.0.0.20 with regard to the option 'Do not split THD'. 1) With the latest DGDemux, no matter whether the option is checked, the THD stream(s) will be demuxed. 2) If the option is checked, the language property of the generated .thd fi...

Re: DGDemux development
Thank you. I'll edit my post too. Don't see why you need to prepare telling me what your system locale is set to and which track you think has desync problems, but OK. I could be working on this right now if you simply told me those things. EDIT: I can't edit my post because you quoted it. ;) Anywa...

Re: DGDemux development
If it is just a system locale issue, then likely we can fix that. But you better stop slagging us off at other forums, if you want us to work free to solve your problems. Please tell us what is the system locale setting that you use, which you expect to work with your files. Regarding your claimed ...

Re: DGDemux development
Can't see that, because you didn't give the video time. You're pushing your luck, hoomin. Rethink your plan, or dance the moose stomp. Really? Well, the duration of these audio files are far away from each other. So it is obviously that not all of them match the video. Actually, the duration of the...

Re: DGDemux development
So, help me out here. What is the problem that you are reporting? Do you have some desync or other issue? Maybe you're just looking for some lessons? Yes, I have severe desync issue here. As you can see from the duration of these audio files, they are far away from matching the original video. PS: ...

Re: DGDemux development
8 million seconds for an audio file? The movie is 2000+ hours long? No wonder it's a long upload. The time unit MediaInfo used here is milliseconds. :D The size of the correlated disk is 53.3 GB, and my network speed is 10 Mbps  And report another minor problem: The de...

Re: DGDemux development
A newbie question arising when check the output of DGDemux. For Blu-ray disk which has only one m2ts for the main playlist, should all the audio streams have the same duration with the video stream? Not always. Sometimes there is silent video at the start and/or end of the stream, often just black ...

Re: DGDemux development
Great to hear, redbtn . You've been really helpful in DGDemux development. Ah, that BDInfo report feature. I never noticed that before. Cool! Today I find another DIY disk with demux problems by DGDemux. The duration of the obtained audio files deviate from that of the video stream. But none of oth...

Re: DGDemux development
How to get the duration of a BD disk so precisely by BDInfo or other tools? I also tried BDInfo 0.7.5.5 (GUI), however it reports the duration as hh:mm:ss without the precision of milliseconds. https://t37.pixhost.to/thumbs/9/129094408_fs-2019-12-04-21-24-39.png Thank you very much. Re: DGDemux development
Iron man 2, mpls 00847. DTS-MA track. Before 1.54.34.500 it perfect, after has shift +10ms. I guess there is place where last m2ts starts. Maybe there are 2 identical frames and 1 should be deleted, but for some reason it wasn't.I fail to find duplicate frame, but there starts difference +10ms (vs ...

Re: DGDemux development
Could you go to that private track to obtain this source? If you do not have its account, I am pleased to invite you as long as you are willing to be and agree with its rule. We've been looking for DTS HDHR streams so this would help both of us. If I gave you an FTP would you be able to upload it t...

Re: DGDemux development
It seems like files have no fragmentation, but while they writes to disk, they are still writes in small pieces, because hdd speed drops from 150mbps to 40mbps. I think it happens because hdd writing small pieces and have to move heads very often between files. I have to check it, but I think if de...

Re: DGDemux development
Can't duplicate that. What OS etc.? C'mon, windows can't minimize and restore a dialog? Don't hand us some WinXP/Win7 nonsense. We use latest libraries and runtimes. Gonna tell Rocky to go with video 100 GB, audio 5 GB each, sups 1 GB. I do not think it's necessary to reduce the fragment count to z...

Thank you for your report. I/O performance is already on my to-do list. In the meantime, use an SSD. ;) Regarding your second point, please give me a link to purchase the exact same disk you use. Then I can investigate. Welcome to the forum! Thank you for your nice project. I am anxious to see perf...

Re: DGDemux development
I have tested toy.story.4 of both the UHD and 3D (2K) disks, and find two possible problems. One is regard to disk IO performance and the other is regard to DTSMA audio. 1. The IO performance problem of the extracted files of both the two disks: I set the output location to HDD disk. After a demuxin...
