Re: CUDASynth
I tried actually using the DGSharp and unfortunately it just seemed to bring out the dither more than anything else. I think most sharpens have a function to ignore grain and dither as sharping those is sub-optimal in most cases.

Re: Suggestion on dedicated Turing card for video decoding?
I have Three Generations of Nvidia cards and tested them all. They have wildly different video engines. I tested all with same settings on same clip. These are Encoder Tests, but they do put different vidoes engines even on same generation. The 1080ti obviously is using more hardware than the 1050ti...

Re: CUDA Suggestions and Talk
Ever since this summer I was wondering if these modern open shader sharpeners could be added as a avisynth script. Sorry if a bunch of people have brought this up already. They have good enough results to upsample 1440p to 2160p with very good results all while only dropping real time FPS a few perc...

Re: DGHDRtoSDR_1.12
AF is slang. Strongly worded "very" in this case. The converted imaged looks very dull, so much as to invoke crude slang derogatory. I will get a direct download file link. That was just easy compared to dealing with Mega or something. Here are server links to the two source file. If you get securit...

Re: CUDASynth
Very interested in your CUDASynth. I made a zoomed in crop of CUDA Synth Denoise and Sharpen vs my encoder favorite SMDegrain and LimitedSharpenFasterMod. Re: DGHDRtoSDR_1.12
I got the cube mapped Luts working. This is not a solution at all either. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/466987916242059275/679790020546265144/Midway.2019.2160p.UHD.Elevator.CLIP_Cube_Mapped_bt709_-_152.png DGHDRtoSDR looks much more vibrant. This keeps the correct tone but looks washed out ...

Forum Image Links
Simple question. I tried several common mark ups with no luck. How does one resize linked images here to make them not take up 4 times the page? I guess I have been spoiled where images auto size to a reasonable and are links or mouse overs to larger. [image=200]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachment...

Re: DGHDRtoSDR_1.12
Anyone have that DGHDRtoSDR 1.12 documentation? Going with in Staxrip: DGHDRtoSDR(light=100.0, impl="255", fulldepth=true ) Gives: Script Error DGHDRtoSDR: input must be CS_YUV420P16 Must need the conversion as the Source is YV12 HDR. DGHDRtoSDR_1.12
I am a bit embarrassed about this. I have finally got a good HDR to SDR conversion using DGHDRtoSDR_1.12 by accident instead of 1.13 You see the light argument finally got the converted SDR to light levels matching original SDR! I work in stax and this finally after years of trying tools works with ...
