I mean whatever you passed into eac3to (the output of DEE I suppose). Also your command line that produces the error.

Sorry for the delay responding. We've been facing medical issues for both DG and Sweetie Pie lately. Can you provide a short source sample I can use to check it? Possible causes: the audio format changes in the stream, the stream is corrupted, the stream has been cut badly. With your sample I can de...

Albert said it's all relative so get over yourself, kid.
Hey Rocky, instead of building any infrastructure/code to support presets, why not just have some pre-defined CRV files with appropriate names? Then that would fit well with the frame range implementation.

Not halted just resting a little. Also, Rocky is hogging the PC for his CUDASynth stuff. We got the low-hanging fruit on eac3to and what's left to do is hard stuff. Be patient I'll get back to it.
Are there some bugs that you particularly would want to see addressed?

Guys, I had looked closely at the re-numbering thing, and even tried changing it. But it was fraught and I talked to Rocky about it. The code is so complex and therefore risky to touch that we decided not to do it. Even more so for a cosmetic thing that is not a bug. I'll release the -nolog option a...

hey Rocky i had a thought
(i know shocking)
couldn't you make a filter that does the whole cudasynth thing
with all the filters
but without DGSource()?
then the sheeple could basically have cudasynth
but with a different source filter
akshully, Britney mentioned this last night

I've got the INI file -nolog implemented. Moving on to numbering for the Chapters. The numbering system is a bit of a snakepit, but I think I can emerge intact.

Welcome to the forum Birb, and thank you for your post.
Both of your suggestions seem reasonable to me. I'll see what I can do.

Hello neto_pir! Try this:
eac3to.exe "Path\to\BR-folder" 3) 1: "Path\to\Remux\[1]_Chapters.txt" -log="Path\to\Remux\[1]_Chapters - Log.txt"
BTW, guys, log files created with the -log file option will not be automatically deleted unless they begin with "log" and end with ".txt".

I'd rather have the log spam myself. Better that than risk losing some I want to reference. Then you should have answered me when I made the proposal (4 days ago!), not waited until I implemented it. So now you're stuck with it. We hate hit-and-run posters here. Look, we reply to things very quickl...

eac3to 3.51:
* eac3to now automatically deletes older log files so as to maintain
a maximum of 5 log files in any given directory. This is to avoid uncontrolled
accumulation of log files. w0bble
* The notes file was updated to describe that new behavior.

I understand the concern with accumulation of log files. I'm not going to revert to old behavior but maybe we can mitigate it for you. How about if I keep only the last N logfiles, where N could be a fixed number like 5 or 10, or maybe it could be configurable. -fast is new with our builds. So your ...

Sorry, I just noticed that you named the GUI in your first post. I cannot find "eac3to µGUI". Please give me a link to download it. Anybody else know what that is?

The log file is created in the "current directory". Are you running eac3to directly or through a GUI? If directly, then you are in a DOS command window in some directory and giving the command eac3to. That directory is the current directory. If using a GUI I don't know what directory it executes eac...

I've released eac3to 3.50 using the PID concept to avoid overwrites. The notes file was augmented to include a description of log file operation. Log File -------- Log file generation was changed. Previously two identical copies of the log file were generated in the directory where eac3to.exe was lo...

eac3to 3.50:
* Changed the log file naming to prevent log file overwrites. The name
now includes the process PID of the invoking eac3to, e.g., "log1234.txt".
Refer to the notes file for details.
* Revised the notes file to include a description of how log files work.

A file called log.txt should be created in the current directory (where you are when you execute the eac3to command). The name is going to change in the next version. See the discussion at the end of this thread:
