DGDecNV build 238 will not run but 236/237 do

Yes that runs and seems to work like 237 apart from the buttons being at the top and the button bar being white.

DGDecNV build 238 will not run but 236/237 do

Thanks, there is no rush, it's a busy time of year for many. It is good to know it is on the to do list. Maybe there is a way to check for the OS and not offer DPI awareness if it is not supported? Presumably this is for 4K displays? I am not aware of the maximum display support in Win 7 because my ...

Might be a win7 thing.
Just tested x64 and x86 on win10 and it works fine
So why does 236 & 237 work okay? What was changed between 237 and 238 that broke it?

DGDecNV build 238 will not run but 236/237 do

I am getting an error with the latest build of DGdecNV 238, it will not run and shows an error window as you can see below. I am using Windows 7 x64 SP1 with an Intel i7-3770K CPU and a MSI GTX 1660 GPU. v236 and v237 both run without problems. It's the same for both the x86 and x64 versions. https:...

Re: [RESOLVED] ERROR: JIT compilation failed.

It is working now but was not earlier. I did try two different browsers with the same result. It worked fine last night too but I did not get the required version that I could use. I am certain that I did it the same last night as I just used. A number of failed attempts, maybe 4 or 5.

Re: [RESOLVED] ERROR: JIT compilation failed.

I have been getting the same problem with 2053 with the same Gfx card, GT 240. I did try using the dgdecnv contained in MeGUI and that produced the JIT error. I then downloaded 2053 from your binaries site and that showed the Kernel error. I did not realise that it was only a compute 1.2 card becaus...

Re: QuickSync indexer?

It's certainly a possibility. I'd have to get a processor with QuickSync. Can you recommend something that will drop in as a replacement for my i7 980X? I don't want to give up CPU power if possible. Did this ever get any further? Do you think that Intel Quick Sync could be useful and offer high de...

Re: DGAVCDecodeDI & MeGUI 2006 (svn) Crash

Oh ic now, it was only introduced with the GT520 and included with the mobile 410M. I thought that it was included with most of the 500 series going by the core numbers because I thought that they disable sections of cores that fail testing to make the lower end models. Therefore it looks like I wil...

Re: DGAVCDecodeDI & MeGUI 2006 (svn) Crash

With VP5 you can keep up with the encoder even with SD. When I saw your post you raised my hopes until I looked at the available cards in the 500 series. The 520 is the closest things but it's a bottom end card with inadequate shaders and is inferior to my GT240 DDR5 card in all respects except for...

Re: DGAVCDecodeDI & MeGUI 2006 (svn) Crash

Yeah, well, it's a shame that this thing has to be gfx card specific. IMO you should drop the HW accelleration thing and reprogram this fine program so it just works, regardless of hardware. Thanks anyway. HW acceleration/decoding does have a place, it's great for HD encoding but very poor when the...

Is this only occurring when using VirtualDub?

Have you tried opening the avisynth script using media player classic? Does that show any video?

Re: Feature Requests

The deblocking is performed. As you noted (with slight misspelling), H.264 is doing "in-loop deblocking". That means that deblocking is not done "after the fact" like you do when e.g. playing back Xvid videos. In H.264, the deblocking is an essential "inner" process of both encoding and decoding. I...

Re: Feature Requests

It's certainly possible but what do you mean by this: "Without the normal in loop deblocking being done..." It was what I remember H264 calling the de-blocking, but I might of got it wrong. Basically when a video is played in a Media Player, de-blocking gets done according to the amount the AVC vid...

Re: Feature Requests

I think this might of been requested before but I cannot find any mention of it. Can a De Blocking function be added? Preferably GPU assisted. Without the normal in look deblocking being done, much of the low bitrate HDTV broadcasts look quite poor. Currently it means using separate filters. DGDecod...
