Deinterlacing AVS still interlaced bug?

 Thank you very much for all your help. I tested.rar file and that worked fine. I was getting top first on interlaced, but after downloading slipstreamed .zip and replacing the .exe and .dll the avs output now shows progress on AviSynth+ if I set deinterlace=1 I usually have something like DGSo...

Deinterlacing AVS still interlaced bug?

I did get a reply regarding this and thought I would share here. https://github.com/AviSynth/AviSynthPlus/issues/356 Recent builds of FFmpeg can read AviSynth+'s frame properties (which is also where it gets the Range, Primaries, Transfer, and Matrix information). This would have one of three places...

Deinterlacing AVS still interlaced bug?

I did notice if I open the letterman example video and accidently hit demux menu it will crash DGIndexNV.

Deinterlacing AVS still interlaced bug?

Thank you for the quick follow up. Just to close the loop on this. I installed 32-bit AviSynth 2.6 and the avs input stream now states: Input #0, avisynth, from 'input.avs': Duration: 02:28:00.47, start: 0.000000, bitrate: N/A Stream #0:0: Video: rawvideo (I420 / 0x30323449), yuv420p, 1920x1080, 29....

Deinterlacing AVS still interlaced bug?

Thank you for continuing to support this software! I just jumped back into this with a 7950x and 4080 to hopefully reduce my older larger files. No real issues getting this to work on Windows 11 with AviSynth+ 3.7.2. I came across a MKV with h.264 video that is interlaced 29.970 Scan type : MBAFF Sc...

Re: Feature Requests

Would it be possible for you to detect the AVC profile of the input file right away and then complain to the user when they try and specify a lossless profile. Like, Lossless and/or 4:4:4/4:2:2 chroma is not supported, please convert to a different AVC profile that isn't High 4:4:4 or High 4:2:2. Th...

No difference still cannot move past those stops using the next GOP button. I have to click past it to continue moving to GOP locations. I'm not sure what is different between your setup and mine. I have three PCs. i7 980x now running stock, 16 GB of DDR3, GTX 570 now running 301.24 Driver - BETA, W...

Re: VP vs CUDA decoding performance

I have a GTX 570, GTX 460, and GT 520. They are in different machines and I stopped after running the GTX 570. I used the rat.264 file mentioned above and the following avs script: LoadPlugin("DGDecodeNV.dll") DGSource("rat.dgi") loop(10) I used AVSMeter v1.17 Using 2041 In the rat.dgi file the line...

Yes (4Ghz), I will undo and let you know. update: I put everything back to stock and it still sticks. I put the two files on my other machine with 32-bit win 7, q6600, and the GTX 460. Both machines cannot advance past the point in those pics. I can click past that point but the next GOP button and ...

Re: 2042 Scanning through Transport Stream causes freezing.

Side note: x32/x64 act the same. If I try and use your Output Trimmed TS feature with a small section that encloses one of the freezes I can make your program crash. I can save project and demux video without a problem. Like we talked about before I used DGSplit to Chunk the stupid large file into 1...

Lets say there is a file made up of ABC where A is the first 100MB, B is the second 100MB, and C is the rest of the large file. Lets say (will confirm tonigh...

I tried it on my 32-bit Windows 7 PC with the GTX 460 and the 296.10 drivers and the problem still happened. My files are rather large. I also noticed when that thread is consuming one of the processors 9 times out of 10 my hard drive is getting thrashed. I tried using your DGSplit to chunk it under...

Re: 2042 Scanning through Transport Stream causes freezing.

Thanks for getting back with me. After opening the transport stream with your software, holding down the right arrow key to scan forward didn't cause your software to hiccup? Clicking on the timeline conservatively was the only way I was able to get the sections I wanted out of that file. I have ano...

2042 Scanning through Transport Stream causes freezing.

I recently got a SiliconDust HDHomeRun over the air ATSC tuner. I used BeyondTV 4 to capture the stream from fox. The raw stream appears to be 1280x720 at 59.940 fps. Since BeyondTV seems to just write the raw transport stream to a file I opened the file with the DGIndexNV for segment cutting. I usu...

I just downloaded and used your V2_TEST_CUDA_VS_VP.rar . I added my license.txt file to each dgdecnv folder and double click on each batch file while I had gpu-z 0.5.4 open and with the appropriate gpu selected. Same results :( no Video Engine usage on either my GTX 460 nor GTX 560 Ti. My GTX 460 is...

Re: GT 520 VP5 performance

His original clip used for his performance results was 7:43. I can't believe CUDA is so close to VPU on the 460 for MPEG2. My testing doesn't agree with that. Maybe flyordie accidentally picked up the same DGDecodeNV.dll when doing the testing? I did not make a mistake on the DGDecodeNV.dll. I've c...

I'm using 280.26 nVidia drivers on the GT 520. Re: GT 520 VP5 performance

Flagship VP5 won't get here till 2012 :( I ran the GTX 460 through the same test. If you re-enable VPU would you allow the end user to switch between the two? Perhaps a DecodeEngine=1 or something in the AVS call? I thought it was strange the GTX 560 Ti had virtually the same results for CUDA and VP...

Re: GT 520 VP5 performance

It's not so obvious. CUVID does nothing with interlacing/deinterlacing. There's no reason for any big difference between progressive and interlaced content. To answer this I've put in some data points where Deinterlacing is used. OK, I've broken this post into 4 sections. Each section has 5 encodin...

Re: GT 520 VP5 performance

I would be ELATED to test VP5 for you! :D I would like to note the obvious, progressive AVC, VC-1 HD video is where the GT 240 really shines (at present). Interlaced and MPEG2 HD content is the only thing that performs better on the GTX 560 Ti probably because of the CUDA cores or however nVidia CUV...

[RESOLVED] DGIndexNV doesn't put navigation cursor back after save

The Scenario: I've selected a project range from a large video/audio file. After I've saved the project for that range the cursor does not show the cursor back where I left it. It is actually where I left it, which is super fantastic for helping me choose the next range if they are contiguous! If I ...
