GT 610

I heard the GT 610 is supposed to be a re-branded GT 520. Can anyone verify that it achieves the same performance as a GT 520 with dgdecnv? Is a GT 520 still the fastest decoding card? $14.99 after rebate: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130849&Tpk=14-130-849&nm_mc=EMC-GD011...

Re: [RESOLVED] cuCtxCreate failed

Looks like it is just running out of memory. I'm surprised because I have a 1gb GT520, but I can only change my script in avspmod about 5-8 times before it crashes and i get a green screen. Then I have to quit the program and run it again... kind of a pain. is there any way to flush the memory manua...

Re: [RESOLVED] cuCtxCreate failed

is there a way to see which applications are using the video card?

I keep having this issue but I'm unable to figure out which application is already using the video card. Could Windows 7's Aero affect it?

Do any of the VNC's keep the video driver initialized? Like RealVNC and UltraVNC.

edit: TightVNC works great. RealVNC has issues with Windows Vista/7.

Re: GT 520 VP5 performance

How fast of a CPU do you need in order to notice a substantial speed improvement with DGDecNV? Sandy Bridge or the new Bulldozer? I only noticed about .25fps max improvement on my encodes since I bought my 520. I have an i7 930.

Re: GeForce 210 Compatibility

Ok, well I'll probably get a 1gb model then as I've never used multiple sources. Thanks again!

Re: GeForce 210 Compatibility

Would a 2gb model improve decoding performance for x264? That's the only thing I use DGDecNV for.

Re: GeForce 210 Compatibility

I am running 280.26 which was the latest from the NVidia website. I was just wondering if there would still be traces of the old drivers left on my system. However I think I will just return this and get the GT520 like you said. It's only $20 more and is much faster. If I have any trouble with it wh...

[RESOLVED] GeForce 210 Compatibility

Hi, I recently purchased a GeForce 210 to replace my 8800GTS for using DGDecNV. However, upon a clean installation of the latest NVidia Drivers, DGDecNV just freezes whenever I try to load a file, whether H264 or VP1. I have downloaded the latest DGDecNV and used it on default settings. I'm wonderin...
