Sorry but what is this--I don't find "Compute Capability" on that chart.

EDIT: Maybe you mean "OpenCL Support"...? That looks like it.

Re: DGDecNV Latest Build 2047

I have uploaded the revised 2048 with support for sm_11 and beyond. It should support the cards you mentioned. I don't think there are any sm_10 cards that matter. Correct me if I'm wrong about that. :P EDIT: You can see which cards we lose here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CUDA#Supported_GPUs We ...

I was thunderstruck to learn of your retirement but thankfully this only lasted for a very few minutes until I tried again this board and here you are explaining things. I'm going to reset the entire world to 0 tomorrow. Right now I'm watching the Blackhawks game. Congrats on a great game, and Go Hawks in the final! I hope the World Reset you plan involves more than just DGIndexNV licenses!?!?! I believe you have special powers... OK well thanks for trying. ;)

Actually, my avatar is of Charley, a female we found as a kitten in our Greenhouse some 5 years ago now. I've managed to tame her and her sister pretty well. Their brother disappeared only months after we had them all neutered (and released to the "wild"). Some day I will tell you the story my prof ...

Donald in case you've missed it, the EVGA version of this card (750Ti) can be had today from Newegg for $129.40 after $10 rebate! I'm sure you're on their mailing list, if not the code to use is EMCYTZT59227.

Re: Which VP engine on which card ?

Good explanation Donald, thanks for that. I was unaware of the pricing re: OEM reference boards/designs.

Makes me wonder now about the reviews I linked earlier, showing the reference board. These must just be "loaners" then, or even giveaways I suppose...

Re: Which VP engine on which card ?

The NVIDIA reference design is something card manufacturers receive on which they base their individual designs. You can't buy such a card. Good grief. I do have to wonder though: NVIDIA does really design-and-test-and-manufacture some number of "reference design" cards with no plans or intent to s...

Re: Which VP engine on which card ?

Pictures of GTX750i i've seen, cards have length at least of of 50% more, and have 2 slots. Are you sure this is a picture of a GTX750i ? From this review which says it's the Nvidia version--I've not surfed on buying that one per se: http://www.hitechlegion.com/reviews/graphics/38753-nvidia-geforce...

Re: Which VP engine on which card ?

- 2 slots used : Not possible for me, card is too big, my PC video has 5 HDD, and will always have. I need a small card. You're sure the fan/heatsink means it won't fit? This is one of the things I struggle with when I look at these things--maybe I don't know where to look in the specs: http://www....

Re: DGDecNV Latest Build 2046

I slipstreamed VP6 (Maxwell) support into 2046...VP6 doubles the decode frame rate. The GTX 750 Ti has a VP6 and is inexpensive. My 9600GT is a VP2 I think and I bought-but-uninstalled the GT250 so your post here caught my attention! It's not obvious to me what the "Ti" designation means--is this b...

Re: DGDecNV Latest Build 2046

I slipstreamed VP6 (Maxwell) support into 2046, so re-download if you need it. All you need is to take the new NV12ToRGB24_sm_50.cubin and put it in your existing installation. Be sure to use the correct 32-bit or 64-bit version. VP6 doubles the decode frame rate. The GTX 750 Ti has a VP6 and is in...

Re: Creating .dgi on GTX 650 Ti is slower than with GT 220 / GT 440

Yes, laserfan, you are right on both counts. 1) DGIndexNV does not use the GPU when creating a project; it only needs to parse the stream using CPU code and write the index file. However, the GPU *is* used for decoding and displaying the frames when doing play/preview or navigating on the timeline....

Re: Creating .dgi on GTX 650 Ti is slower than with GT 220 / GT 440

I [used to?] confuse myself about this each time, so Donald can I test my understanding with you. From your web page: DGDecNV is a decoder/frameserver for AVC, MPEG2, and VC1 streams that runs on the GPU of Nvidia graphics cards that support CUDA video decoding. So the creation of the index file .dg...

Bumping this old thread because it solved an issue for me. I recently updated from 2041 all-the-way-to 2045 and upon doing so found in the logs of my .cmd files the new "progress" output: "C:\Program Files (x86)\DGIndexNV\DGIndexNV" -i D:\video\videoIN.264 -o D:\video\videoIN.dgi -e Project 0 1 2 3 ...

Re: Oddball resolution - 2560x720p

a screen capture of a dual-screen setup with 1280x720 resolution would be one guess :P Close. A SBS 3D 1920x1080 video recoded to double 1280 resolution to keep as much of the 3D resolution as possible, even though the 1080 is reduced to 720. In order to do cross-eyed viewing of the 3D video, in 3D...
