But there is an issue with accuracy
Don't get mad with visual accuracy.

Enough that the go to chapter, next chapter and previous chapter are frame accurate for future use of episode/chapter extraction.

Please re-download again to get chapter marks on the timeline for MKV.
Great!

Will find some time to test it.

Edit: please add buttons and shortcuts to jump to next/previous chapter.

HEVC 4:4:4 support

I saw that the latest cards support both 4:2:0 and 4:4:4 HEVC codec.

Are DGTools able to deal with that? And, in general, with any video codec shown on nVidia Decoding Chart?

Seems to be working, great.

Slight difference in audio output delay

I'm gonna assume you meant that the test build is OK (so far) I have batch demuxed ~100 mkv files and the audio delays are consistent with the previous patched build. I have found an issue with frame rendering when the mkv is cut from a seasonal BD with a single M2TS for multiple episodes. It shows...

Update both components and don't try to re-use existing DGI files.

It all stemmed from this MKV delay issue that got me investigating.
Once I told you, I'll never let you get bored. Hat off for your investigation job.

Obviously the missing combination will be the bugged one. ;)

Sorry for any injured people.

I always asked myself why USA people keep on building "paper" houses instead of solid concrete, such as in Europe.

Then I repeated in a scientific approach on multiple trials and I got consistent results.

You didn't say the result of optimize for HDD. Did it change anything?
I did not test as I saw it did not create AVS files.

Could HDD mode change that issue?

Get rid of the SetMemoryMax() and SetMTMode(). They are not needed for this script. I followed your instructions and here are the results. https://i1.lensdump.com/i/tK58Kv.png What is the container and video type? There is minimal difference between mkv and m2ts. Are you using AVSMeter64 to measure...

Slowness on pure decoding

I am having some fast encoding with x265 preset medium and there were some strange drops in CPU usage. I was not used to them as I always use preset slow and the CPU is completely busy in the encoding process. Could be fun to try setting 'optimize for HDD' with the start /w /b stuff.
Another strange behaviour is that, for some reason, it doesn't create AVS file.

I had to manually create them for 48 videos. :|

Batch processing error

I have tried to demux multiple files with the command

for /R %%a in (*.mkv) D:\Eseguibili\Media\DGDecNV\DGIndexNV.exe -i "%%~na.mkv" -a -o "%%~na.dgi"

but it opens DGIndexNV multiple times instead of waiting for the process to finish.

Is there a way to have one file indexed at a time?
