Got it working! The challenge was to have the same denoising in both DGSource() and DGDenoise() without clashing or requiring duplicated cu files. I have thought about your idea about the ini file. Perhaps it's feasible if you introduce a small panel in DGIndex to control filters and you can ...

The owner is a researcher who loves CGI and has a huge esteem for Nvidia researchers.

He explained very well why light tracing needs denoising in a recent video.

You're gonna have to do much better if you want me to invest a lot of time in this.
The reason is that usually you apply first BM3D then KNLMeansCL to have the best of both worlds.

Having both in CUDA would have been for us easier and faster.

I am curious. :)

Does the DGIndex preview use the same CUDA internal engine from, like, always and you never told us?

If you make it hard for me I won't do anything. Show me a sample and a script and tell why it is better.
Let me finish this batch encode and I will post proper examples.

I heard BM3D sucks. Is it all just hype or can you prove otherwise? My experience and eyes. I find BM3D more precise and less blurry and it has the capability to go temporal too. NLMeans and BM3D work best toghether, often, applying first BM3D and then NLMeans. You can find and entire thread on htt...

What do you think about the config file idea Mmm... it's rare to see common features that can be applied to all videos. I would leave the config file for DGIndexNV only and let the command line speak for DGSource itself. Frame serving and HDRtoSDR for UHD video is clocking in at 331 fps. That seems...

I took aften from https://github.com/wieslawsoltes/AftenW ... s/releases and I think libdcadec.dll from https://github.com/foo86/dcadec/releases/tag/v0.2.0

I have updated versions of libaften.dll and libdcadec.dll, looking at the timestamp.

I can't remember when and where I updated from but I think they are more recent.

Evaluate if to include in the package.

DGDenoise

Just curious.

Would process DGDenoise "inside" DGSource speed up the processing?

In my naive mind it seems that the frame is copied to system memory then back to gpu one to be processed.

Is it like that? The question applies, of course, to any other CUDA filter.

I'm in favour of not bothering with MKV muxing at all because
I can see mkv just as a good container for a whole BD title rip (though there is makemkv too).

For other means I deeply suggest to use https://sourceforge.net/projects/gmkvextractgui

Thanks for your efforts!

Please allow us to use generic ffmpeg shared libraries: those included are outrageously old and specifically compiled, not allowing them to be replaced.

Plus, consider a x64 build.

Weird corruption effect when resizing and deinterlacing with DGSource

dgsource("G:\Streams\AVC\Field Structure\00000.dgi",ct=0,cb=0,cl=4,cr=4,rw=1280,rh=720,deinterlace=1) What is the operation order for DGSource? First deinterlace or resize? If you try to deinterlace a resized video, only a mess can come out, unless the source was interlaced and then resized. Perhap...
