EAC3TO Requests and General Discussion
Just out of curiosity, if i create a .bat file with the following commands: eac3to 00000.m2ts 2: J:\Audio_En.ac3 eac3to 00000.m2ts 3: J:\Audio_Fr.ac3 the 2 log files will have a different name, that's it ? Personnaly, i don't often look at the log file, so it's more a "i was used to" situation than ...

BTW, why was it changed ? What is the issue with the previous way, having the log file the same name than the file produced/extracted ?
Otherwise, i don't think also the date is very relevant, if previous way is not possible anymore, the PID is indeed a good thing.

DGIndexNV 251 not working
A week+ for an encode! Is that a Pentium 3? Using HDDs? Placebo? ;) It's a 10 cores (with HT => 20 logicals) Broadwell with a little overclocking (3GHZ -> 3,8GHz, and DDR4 higher, 3200 (or 2300... 2400), don't remember precisely, i'm in break at work). I'm not using placebo, but a 3 pass encode (i'...

About 32 bits support, can you drop when there is a change of version number ?
Is it possible to have something like this: 251 will have 32 bits "until the end", but when switch to 252 there will be no 32 bits anymore ?
Anyway, thanks for the new version i'll test... in a week...

I don't think i will be able to help, for my case, it's almost certain that CUDA 11 is not compatible with Windows 7, unless nVidia says otherwise, but... very unlikely ! Also i've started the encode of a 4k movie on my video processing PC, it will end in a week -0/+2 days, so i'...

Big thanks for wanting to help... but don't waste time. I'm assuming my choice, for what i know there will a moment i'll froze in version. The one sure thing, it's if one day i'm doing another dedicated video processing PC, it will not be Windows 7  (but i still had to keep my actual ...

Short version Windows 10 story : incompatibility with some olds programs there is no replacement for i'm still using, Windows 7 was already on the edge.
So i'll stay with 250, which is working perfectly fine for now for what i'm doing.

I know Openshell/ClassicShell, and it's not that simple.
If Windows7 is not supported anymore, no hard feelings, just have to know.

474.11 is the last version working under Windows7 x64.
There has been 2 or 3 updates from nVidia for Windows7 x64, actualy the last Windows7 x64 is 474.66, but these last updates are not working (on my 2 different PCs).

Hello.
Personnaly, I share manuelrn point of view of not removing the CRC checks. We are not doing a speed race, but more a reliability/quality race.

Hello. Big news, and big thanks. :bravo: I don't know if it's here to talk about, but there is something to look around, in a second time, when you'll have everything sure Ok. Actually, for a THD track with DolbyAtmos, if you don't want to "loose" the DolbyAtmos track information, you have to extrac...

Hello. For my PC, "fortunately", it was just the watercooling. After ordering and installing a new one, my PC is back again. I made a new encode without --opt-ref-list-length-pps --opt-qp-pps and with --multi-pass-opt-rps , no luck for this one... :( Still have the issue. I've put on the server the ...

Hello. Just for giving you informations. The stream and my settings were provided to Multicoreware team. The issue, is : If i mux to mkv, it plays fine in VLC, MPC-HC, but still not in DGIndexNV (meanings muxing to mkv doesn't change things). So, software decoding works, and from the other side, the answer is : "The option is fine, don't use HW decoding or DGIndexNV, use SW decoding...", also some peop...

Hello, finaly my encode finished...
To be 100% sure of having the exact same parameters (except the guilty option) and x265 version, i've redone the encode, so trash the previous file, and download the both new hevc files.

I've also put in the directory everything (at least almost) necesseray to redo the encode. I was indeed talking of making a small clip. I can't for now, the only PC i can encode the clip with is allready running an encode, and i can't run 2 encodes on it, it's allready 100% CPU and 90% memory used by the current encode. The only reason i use this option is that according the name it optimises encode, and i want to use any optimisation possible, but producing playable stream...
