DoVi Tool

It doesn't seem to impact the output (full quote from quietvoid's Github) : EOS/EOB NALUs usually signal the end of a bitstream OR segment (in the case of seamless branching). So when muxing the EL stream into a BL containing EOS/EOB, the EL is inserted either before or after depending on the settin...

DoVi Tool

I asked to quietvoid, dovi tool creator, and "(enable this option) is not really relevant today"

DoVi Tool

Thank you. I don't know if MakeMKV still use --eos-before-el option and why quietvoid set it to false. But mkvtoolnix output is the same than dovi_tool without this option.

DoVi Tool

Thank you and sorry, I didn't see this topic... Just a question : any reason to use --eos-before-el option ? I use the latest dovi tool and quietvoid say "Write the EOS/EOB NALUs before the EL. Defaults to false. This flag enables the same behaviour yusesope's mux script. Enabling this therefore res...

Re: Better decoding with DGDecNV ?

A last question : if I want to downscale 4K to 1080p and keep HDR with DGDecNV, is a GTX 1050 sufficient to do that ?
Thank you an thank you for your advice.

Re: Better decoding with DGDecNV ?

No, it's impossible w/o card as it relies on HW decoder by NVidia. There is no trial for DGNV, I believe $15 is not that much for you. You're right but I said I don't need a nVidia card because I'll probably not use DGDecNV... If decoding without treatment is equal to FFmpegSource2 or other filter,...

Re: Better decoding with DGDecNV ?

Thank you, so I don't need to buy a Nvidia card in order to just decode without treatment.
If I want to try it, is there a trial version of DGDecNV ?
Thank you.

Better decoding with DGDecNV ?

Hi,
I would like to know if DGDecNV provides a better decoding quality than FFmpegSource2 or other Avisynth filter ? Just to decode without using any other function.
I don't have a Nvidia card to try but I'm a DGDecIM user and it was a great tool.
Thank you !

DGDecIM still in dev ?

Hi,
I would like to know if DGDecIM is still in development ?
Is HEVC 10bit 4K HDR/Dolby Vision input stream support will be added ?
Thank you.

[RESOLVED] DGIndexIM - Invalid licence after Fall Creator update

Hi,
I've upgraded one of my Windows 10 Pro from 1703 (Creator) to 1709 (Fall) and now, I get an error "Invalid licence" when I try to use DGIndexIM.
The ID has changed so I have generated a new licence key.
Is it normal or is it an issue ?
Thank you !

[RESOLVED] DGMVCSource x64 ?

Hi,
I just upgraded to Avisynth+ and I saw the gain given by the x64 (10-15%). Would it be possible to get a x64 version of DGMVCSource ?
Thank you !

Re: DGDecIM crash on Windows 2012 R2

Thank you but it doesn't work.
I have followed your procedure but no success.
Is it necessary to use a x64 version of Avisynth ? I use 2.58. I'm trying to post the dgi file but it is too large.

Re: DGDecIM crash on Windows 2012 R2

So I've tried DGIndexIM.exe and I can create .dgi file without problem. Then I have created an Avisynth plugin but I can't load AVS file : "Avisynth open failure: LoadPlugin: unable to load "DGDecodeIM.dll" (C:\Test\Movie\Script.avs, line 1)" I've tried it with x264 and VirtualDubMod, same issue. I ...

It works ! I get an ID on my server ! Can I generate a license and continue to test ? Or is it necessary to modify .dll also ?
And is it a x86 or x64 version ?
Thank you, you're the best ;)
