Re: Windows 10 Incompatible?
I guess I spoke too soon. The output video is unusable, filled with "CUDA errors" in the upper left, and flashes several frames over and over. Here is a small 1MB sample: https://mega.co.nz/#!TFoxBLYD!bcoMI0Z17yL8HW1Pqopu30P_lOHHFkPaVYx5LaNunU4 It seems to be able to seek through DGIndexNV.exe just ...

Re: Windows 10 Incompatible?
Might have just been a licensing thing. I saw someone else post that they had to generate a new ID. When I tried again after work today, I just got "invalid license". (I tried no less than 10 times last night, getting the "Failed to create video decoder" errors) Went ahead and generated a new ID and...

Windows 10 Incompatible?
I took one of my machines and upgraded it to Windows 10. It seems DGIndexNV no longer functions. An error appears 3 times when leveraging DGSource(). "Failed to create video decoder (2)" Someone said CUDA was gone, others debunked that theory. I can leave the PC with Windows 10 if there's any other ...

Re: Crash on Lighthouse_lossless.mp4
FYI, dgindexim choked on it as well. No big deal, I rarely see either of those characteristics anyways.

[RESOLVED] Crash on Lighthouse_lossless.mp4
There is a 2gb Lossless Video on doom9 which seems to crash dgindexnv.exe. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1691801#post1691801 I can index it with ffmsindex, or use directshow, but can't figure out why it crashes dgindexnv. Remuxing it into mkv doesn't help either. Edit: Guessing it's the 4:...

Re: Importance of frameserver speed
For me, it's only to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong, an example being: "Oh, if you are using dgdecNV, a 2 hour 1080p movie at x264 preset veryslow should be encoding in 2 hours!" I just wanted to make sure that wasn't the case. I have a multitude of computers, but only 3 of them have nVidi...

Importance of frameserver speed
I've been doing movie encodes via frameserving for a long time, but I've always wanted to ask what I would consider a noobish question - What's the importance of a faster frameserver (better video card with dgdecnv, for example) if you are simply encoding video with x264 and a veryslow as the preset...
