Re: [RESOLVED] DGIndexNV.ini GTX 1070 XTREME best cuda use
aceado, that processor and motherboard you have? the cpu and the motherboard wouldn't matter for encoding as for encoding videos even if its 6, 8 or even 10 cores there's still gonna be the same result of the bottleneck being the cpu not being able to keep up with the decoding speed of the gpu i'm ...

Re: [RESOLVED] DGIndexNV.ini GTX 1070 XTREME best cuda use
as you can see from both the video that i posted and the picture you have shown there is some sort of bottleneck the decoding the video isn't your issue here nor is it the bottleneck the main issue is normally down to how fast the cpu is able encode it at which for alot of users this would be the ca...

Re: [RESOLVED] DGIndexNV.ini GTX 1070 XTREME best cuda use
thank you admin ! both a avisynth script and using avsmeter and this this method should yeilf the same result depeg how the use wants to go about it... for me this way is more to the point (quicker lol) the latter would be the true decoding speed before any filters are added here's a quick small vid...

Re: [RESOLVED] DGIndexNV.ini GTX 1070 XTREME best cuda use
the first thing you need to understand is the first picture is showing that its using the NVENC which is the builtin hardware encoder so yes it will be faster.... best way to find out if it is using gpu to the fullist is to load up a video directly into dgnv itself goto video > disable display then ...

Re: (Shameless feature request) HEVC/H.265 10-bit Support
i can confirm that the 1000 series does work fine but i'm unsure as to how the cuda side of it might effect or would it just be ok ? (any suggestions for testing would be nice)

Re: (Shameless feature request) HEVC/H.265 10-bit Support
back again once more with another question you said unless the drivers support cuvid any new card that comes out it should work. after thinking back to the issue i notice years ago.... i came across this in the changelog which is the reason i had to wait back then (late 2012) for the support to be a...

Re: (Shameless feature request) HEVC/H.265 10-bit Support
one slightly of the topic question which i hope you don't mind
do you need to wait for nvidia to add support to use cuvid on newer cards when they come out i.e 1080/1070 or would they just work without any issues made just a newer build for is needed ?

Re: (Shameless feature request) HEVC/H.265 10-bit Support
couldn't you also use dvxa2 for the decoding if there isn't an option for cuvid ?
isn't the purevideo the same thing as cuvid ? (meaning what its able to decode as such)
i might be wrong but i'm guessing that means we need to wait for nvidia to add support for it in cuvid?

Re: (Shameless feature request) HEVC/H.265 10-bit Support
don't forget for nvidia there is a total of 5 cards which does 10bit decoding. which is: gtx 750 se, gtx 950, gtx 960 and now there's gtx 1070, gtx 1080 which is also able to support 12bit decoding :o all details was found from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia_PureVideo#Table_of_GPUs_containing_...

Re: DGDecIM section
True. The real question is when CUVID or IMSDK will support HEVC Main10 with full hardware acceleration. CUVID needs to support 10-bit to stay ahead. They both have to do it to support UHD bluray and we have to just patiently wait. if your still up to trying again it seems intel has updated their s...

Try this: http://rationalqm.us/misc/aceado.zip I don't think DGIndexIM is affected but if so let me know. so you know its works just fine in software decoding which you would expect same with indexing aswell also i've just tested it out and it still hangs it seems. both 32bit and 64bit was tested :...

Re: DGDecIM section
Intel has not made a formal release of INDE supporting Skylake: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-media-sdk/topic/593838 However, they say you can have a try with media sdk version 6.0.0.388 but no guarantees. I currently use 6.0.0.349. I will try in the next days to rebuild with 6.0.0....

Re: DGDecIM section
so today i was wanting to get a faster decoding fps than that which i can get from DGDecNV (vp5 ~130fps) so i remember that my old sandy bridge i7 2600k (3000hd) was able do double the speed which is great! however there's some bad news it seems. i've upgraded to the latest skylake i7 6700k (hd 530)...
