Can you tell me what you think is wrong? And is it different from when you demux via the GUI?
Demux via GUI and CLI gave the same output.
Anw, I thought the chapter file template needs to go from 0 -> 1 -> 2 etc. Turns out, it doesn't matter.

Re: Extract chapters from MPLS file

When I indexed an .mpls file via CLI, the chapter file generated at the end of the process looks like this: CHAPTER01=00:00:00.000 CHAPTER01NAME= CHAPTER03=00:05:59.359 CHAPTER03NAME= CHAPTER05=00:09:51.633 CHAPTER05NAME= CHAPTER07=00:15:51.742 CHAPTER07NAME= CHAPTER09=00:18:36.449 CHAPTER09NAME= CH...

[RESOLVED] Can't demux video in CLI?

Hi, Please help. I can't seem to demux the video stream through CLI (GUI works just fine). Here are the steps that I did in GUI: Open the MPLS file -> Select Demux Video option -> Save Project. The result includes 4 files: a chapter text file, a .dgi file, a .264 file and a log file. The command I u...

Re: HDR -> SDR conversion

I have one question: Does 1.6 resolve the desaturation issue in 1.5? Or should I adjust the "sat" parameter manually?
Thank you.

Re: HDR -> SDR conversion

I don't do self-explanatory. What is your point? Compared to Mobius in 1.4, the new method destroys color & detail in this sample http://thumbs2.imagebam.com/16/7f/a5/8fe758922567654.jpg http://thumbs2.imagebam.com/eb/03/1d/dad329922567694.jpg http://thumbs2.imagebam.com/e8/ea/f4/86ce15922567784.jp...

Re: HDR -> SDR conversion

Tried the latest version with the same sample I uploaded earlier. I think the screenshot is pretty much self-explanatory. :D        MI5_HDR_Sample002467.png        Edit: I also notice the desaturation in version 1.5 (the first 3 sets of screenshots - sample 1). In the 4th set (sample 2), the sky has...

Re: HDR -> SDR tonemapping

What do y'all think of this result? If you like it I'll make a release. I think it looks really good. But, please allow me to be a bit nitpicking :) There seems to be little artifact exists along the contour if you look closely (literally). Well, either that, or the saturation makes me think it's a...

@dmcs

Is this sample known to be Dolby Vision?
I'm not sure what you meant. m2ts has Dolby Vision metadata. mkv sample file doesn't.
Here's the full mediainfo of the m2ts file.

Re: HDR -> SDR tonemapping

@dmcs Can you tell me how that bigger sample came to be? Is it from a UHD bluray? How was it processed? If it is from a UHD bluray, it would be much better for me to get the m2ts file. One problem with the mkv is that we don't know for sure all the metadata is being preserved. Yeah, I used MKVToolN...

Re: HDR -> SDR tonemapping

Hi, I hope a 3 minute sample would suffice. Let me know. https://mega.nz/#!oYNFQaTS!fruexcgJYX_BtlfXzTnDEhjgibgdHoqhT0762v_l7Kg I think I've jumped into the "overblown" conclusion too early. My apology. Here are some screenshots that I took, using Mobius, with light=250 and 500 respectively (other p...

Re: HDR -> SDR tonemapping

Lowering gamma does help with DGHDRtoSDR to restore the darks for that scene, but I assume when you say "brings back the issue", you mean the clipping of the bright spot, such that it shows a clear outline of a brighter area. Is that correct? If so, I can implement a compression style gamut mapping...

Re: HDR -> SDR tonemapping

Hi, I am having an issue with highlight being overblown in this particular scene. If I set light=500, it seems to alleviate the problem, although not entirely. However, every thing else will be too dark. And adjusting gamma brings back the issue. HDR No tonemapping https://malzo.com/i/2018/07/02/xBG...

Regarding show2 offsets, yes, that is a current limitation. If you make a strong argument, I can try to change it, but it would be low priority.
Ah, now I understand why it behaves that way. No, this is no issue. There's no need for any changes. :)

Re: Indexing Issue

Umm, I think I know where I messed up the overlay. I renamed the x64 dgindex .exe file so that it's easier for me to use in commandline (since both x86 and x64 version have the same file name.) I changed the name back to its original and now the overlay info works perfectly. I am so sorry for the tr...

Here's the info:
