NVidia and You(?) (complete with poll)
 Disclaimer: Okay, let's start off that this is going to look messy as a post. Point form: your card, OS, driver your issues with certain driver versions your recommended driver version(s) info lots of info So it's no surprise NVidia drivers have their "fun" moments. I'm curious a...

Keep rested. Ideas usually come best from a dream sequence. If you lose sleep on this, put it on the back burner until something happens in a dream. Must go deeper~admin wrote:Let me sleep on it.

I was hoping maybe for something like a separate call for the info at any time later.admin wrote:Do you have another idea?
Similar to Info() and FFInfo() for the frame information.

DGinfo()
Is there any chance to call "debug=true".. um. 'outside' of "dgsource()" call? Cropping with DGsource must be mod4, in rare circumstances, conversion to yv24 to use odd crops must be taken. Once those measures are taken, using 'debug=true' is cropped out as well. Maybe a DGinfo() for such occurances...

That would make an awesome slipstream.
I've just been deleting older ones for sample clips.
nice request, MR.

 Hmmm. I think maybe even including the date into the zipped archives might help distinguish the slipstreams from each other. As I like to archive downloads, it would help to ensure that I have used latest slipstream possible. When I access the site to get to the tools for slipstreams, I ki...

Re: Extra documentation?
Yeah, it's just for understanding more about the formats we can use for home encoding. I'm far from getting into developing, of any kind. I'm always fascinated of the possibilities we can do with Avisynth and other tools, and encoding at home, I just had the urge for more "input". (as Johnny 5 puts ...

[RESOLVED] Extra documentation?
Hi, Every time I go to create a post, I end up going over the manuals again and finding me own answers. But, I'm curious, is there any other documentation available to read up on the AVC/MPEG2/VC1 frame structures? White papers. Would love to read up on some things, maybe learn some history. I...

Ah, forget the clean install I asked on doom9.
What a curious case!
Have you tried to re-download DGdecNV ?
When updating, are all files replaced or just a few?

KNLMeansCL just got updated again, with enhanced error logs. https://github.com/Khanattila/KNLMeansCL/releases Maybe try again to see if it gives more details. Have you tried re-installing NVidia drivers? "Fresh" install ? I can't think of much for Nvidia + Win10. Other than some DX9_interop was dro...

Re: DGDecNV and KNLMeans under Win10_x64
have you tried running KNLMeans with: KNLMeansCL(device_type="GPU", info=true) ? To confirm that it's using GPU? Also, what format is the video? I'm assuming it's the 2001 movie "Amélie" (re-titled in North America). BD/DVD source should be YV12 unless you converted it to something like YV24/10bit. ...

Excellent! I wasn't sure about this feature.admin wrote:* Added support for 4K/UHD resolutions (but no HEVC yet).
I've got a bunch of trailers in 2K/4K that I've been using FFMS2.
I just thought they were encoded differently.
Thanks for the update.

Yes, in fact, I have been working on it. This is good news! I can revive me old laptop. Very dated, though. I can't remember what HDG it uses. I thik 2500. My desktop has integrated Intel. Though I don't use it since I upgraded video card to NVidia. But, this still is a nice thing to look into for ...

[RESOLVED] GPU crop
I was wondering how different it is if I let the GPU crop with the "crop_t, crop_b, crop_l, crop_r". Compared to letting AVS crop. I can't imagine a lot else happens. I started this thread hoping to see how I can adjust the debug info (set=true) on the screen after I perform a crop operation. But, t...

That was the same thing tritical said about the conversion from dgi to d2v.

Thanks for the feedback

TIVTC dgi support?
So, lately I've been going through the TIVTC package and notice it supports d2v. Which is nice to have that support feature, but it feels rather dated with all the DGdecNV updates in recent years. I contacted tritical about updating the plugin and he has no plans currently to update TIVTC. Any chanc...
