Re: DGDecNV Latest Build 2050
 Hmmm. I think maybe even including the date into the zipped archives might help distinguish the slipstreams from each other. As I like to archive downloads, it would help to ensure that I have used latest slipstream possible. When I access the site to get to the tools for slipstreams, I ki...

Re: Extra documentation?
Yeah, it's just for understanding more about the formats we can use for home encoding. I'm far from getting into developing, of any kind. I'm always fascinated of the possibilities we can do with Avisynth and other tools, and encoding at home, I just had the urge for more "input". (as Johnny 5 puts ...

[RESOLVED] Extra documentation?
Hi, Every time I go to create a post, I end up going over the manuals again and finding me own answers. But, I'm curious, is there any other documentation available to read up on the AVC/MPEG2/VC1 frame structures? White papers. Would love to read up on some things, maybe learn some history. I...

Re: DGDecNV and KNLMeans under Win10_x64
Ah, forget the clean install I asked on doom9.
What a curious case!
Have you tried to re-download DGdecNV ?
When updating, are all files replaced or just a few?

Re: DGDecNV and KNLMeans under Win10_x64
KNLMeansCL just got updated again, with enhanced error logs. https://github.com/Khanattila/KNLMeansCL/releases Maybe try again to see if it gives more details. Have you tried re-installing NVidia drivers? "Fresh" install ? I can't think of much for Nvidia + Win10. Other than some DX9_interop was dro...

Re: DGDecNV and KNLMeans under Win10_x64
have you tried running KNLMeans with: KNLMeansCL(device_type="GPU", info=true) ? To confirm that it's using GPU? Also, what format is the video? I'm assuming it's the 2001 movie "Amélie" (re-titled in North America). BD/DVD source should be YV12 unless you converted it to something like YV24/10bit. ...

It's official!
The ink on the papers has settled.
Of course, I changed all my bookmarks when it first happened. It was the <s>logical</s> rational thing to do.

Re: DGDecNV Latest Build 2049
Excellent! I wasn't sure about this feature.admin wrote:* Added support for 4K/UHD resolutions (but no HEVC yet).
I've got a bunch of trailers in 2K/4K that I've been using FFMS2.
I just thought they were encoded differently.
Thanks for the update.

Re: DGDecIM section
Yes, in fact, I have been working on it. This is good news! I can revive me old laptop. Very dated, though. I can't remember what HDG it uses. I thik 2500. My desktop has integrated Intel. Though I don't use it since I upgraded video card to NVidia. But, this still is a nice thing to look into for ...

[RESOLVED] GPU crop
I was wondering how different it is if I let the GPU crop with the "crop_t, crop_b, crop_l, crop_r". Compared to letting AVS crop. I can't imagine a lot else happens. I started this thread hoping to see how I can adjust the debug info (set=true) on the screen after I perform a crop operation. But, t...

That was the same thing tritical said about the conversion from dgi to d2v.
I'll ask on the doom9 forum, maybe StainlesS will be able to come up with something.
Thanks for the feedback

TIVTC dgi support?
So, lately I've been going through the TIVTC package and notice it supports d2v. Which is nice to have that support feature, but it feels rather dated with all the DGdecNV updates in recent years. I contacted tritical about updating the plugin and he has no plans currently to update TIVTC. Any chanc...

Re: DGDecNV Latest Build 2047
Hm, I indexed a full length movie 99min@24fps (Import) and it took about 10min to index. AVC/MKV from external HDD. I notice something different about the indexing. The status seems to be in a frozen status where the time just doesn't let it go . The # of frames seem to only change at intervals of 1...

Re: DGDecNV Latest Build 2047
2047 doesn't have the entries for 750 in the tables. It should be shown correctly in 2048 (get the latest). I'm continuously slip-streaming as it is only a candidate at this point. Old indices are compatible. 1) Ah, yes. Newest download shows it now. http://i.imgur.com/DTyZSNs.png 2) Thanks for the...

Re: DGDecNV Latest Build 2047
Losing support for my 310M on my laptop is fine. I hardly use it for video stuff these days. It can stick with 2047 and do simple stuff. --------------------------- I, too, also got a List GPU dialog error. For my desktop with GTX 750ti, it doesn't list any GPU/PureVideo version" at all. http://i.im...

Re: DGDecNV Latest Build 2047
I can already see a huge speed improvement on indexing! I took a ~9min. clip from a bluray remux (AVC/MKV) and it only took a couple seconds compared to (about) 10 seconds. I'll do some extensive testing with The Three Formats (AVC/VC1/MPEG) in MKV and raw ES. :( I really need to start doing things ...

 Really late to the party. I completely forgot about this project. I followed a bit on Doom9 and saw how complicated things got. I believe it was Intel limitations? Now that I've got an upgrade--- wait, was this project based on Intel QSV? Or is it Nvidia-friendly? The desktop has Intel HD Gr...

Re: QuickSync indexer?
+1 Definitely would love to see Intel work with Donald Graft on this. My desktop has a really old Nvidia card. I bought it off a friend who wanted to buy a new laptop. So now I finally have Nvidia HW decoding. But not without its compromises. The desktop is a single-core processor. It's really outda...
