Re: Feature Requests

Your (sad) progress bar made me realise that I've already "known" you for 18 years :salute: Where did the years go? Well, they took the colour of my beard with them but I look good in grey or white anyway. To celebrate these years, I have a simple feature request: Would it be possible to have the HD...

Re: Feature Requests

Hello! I did not find the answer in the documentation (maybe I was looking badly) - can DGIndexNV make an index file for each downloaded file, and not one common index file (.dgi) for all files in the list (i.e. make multiple *.DGIs)? I want to individually recode each file using AviSint, but I don...

Re: Feature Requests

By the way, you'll want to ditch the last ConvertBits. Both x264 and x265 will happily accept 16-bit input and convert down to the final bitdepth (x265 has the parameter --dither to enable HQ dithering). If I'm not mistaken, they both work internally in 16 bits anyway.

Re: CUDA Suggestions and Talk

Having a high quality resizer like ResampleHQ would be a nice addition to the toolset. https://gist.github.com/4re/64642122e359c37543fe I personally use it all the time for downsizing with Bicubic, but I don't know if the GF hardware supports that one (particularly the b and c parameters that I tune...

[RESOLVED] DGIndexNV loses the video stream after indexing

I noticed a small problem with the latest slipstream (174). After indexing the selected file(s), the video stream is "closed" so that if you try to preview the video, you get the error "No video frames found!". This is usually not an issue, but sometimes I check the frame structure by previewing the...

Re: Feature Requests

I have two feature requests: 1) A resize calculator alongside the cropping tool. Currently I usually downscale UHD and HD sources to 1080p and 720p respectively and I need to open one m2ts file in the Avisynth script creator in MeGUI just to do the maths instead of getting all the necessary things o...

[RESOLVED] Issue with Cropping Tool slider button

I found a small bug from the Cropping Tool. If you click on the slider button after you've done the auto cropping part, the cropping value changes without the slider moving at all. After auto crop: https://i.ibb.co/mztVqYC/after-autocrop.png After clicking on the top crop slider button: https://i.ib...

Re: DGDenoise

Thanks, I think I'll start using the avscompat mode for now. I suppose there are no big differences what comes to performance or stability of DGSource?

Re: DGDenoise

Isn't DGDenoise Vapoursynth-compatible? I tried using it the normal way as dgdecodenv.dll is in the VS plugins autoload folder, but the function is not recognized. DGSource itself works just fine. I'd like to switch to DGDenoise as my prefiltering tool, it's much faster than KNLMeansCL even with chr...

Post the top of the DGI file so I can see if it is indeed 153.

[RESOLVED] DGIndexNV crashes at the end of process

I have a Rush BD which I'm trying to index with DGIndexNV. For some reason, the program crashes at the very end of the process. It just vanishes and leaves this in the Event Viewer application log: Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 14.7.2018 12:08:15 Event ID: 1000 Task Category:...

Heh, missed that change. I didn't see that pointed out in the binaries release thread so I just updated files as usual. Thanks for the really quick help!

[RESOLVED] "Bad license"?

I just downloaded and upgraded to the latest 2053 build, but it's giving me a bad license error in the VapourSynth Editor preview.. DGIndexNV64 works just fine, and the machine ID matches the last one generated by the license generator.

Can you help me out a bit? :)

Thank you Don, it is very nice to see you support us "paying customers". HD stuff really likes a 64-bit environment :D

Re: [RESOLVED] Native Vapoursynth support

Don,

could you please compile both versions (2.5 and 2.6)? That way you would support all the registered users and not just Avisynth users.

[RESOLVED] Native Vapoursynth support

Hi Don,

do you have any plans regarding Vapoursynth support for the DGDecNV? It is the only thing that is still 32-bit in my Vapoursynth processing chain since the 64-bit plugin cannot be loaded in VS.

And it seems to work, 164527 frames indexed. I also compared by interleaving and the results are identical compared to the remuxed file. Thanks a lot!

Re: Too short video, a/v sync issue

I can upload the file somewhere, I think I have a ~5Mbps line. Or if there's no ftp server available, I'll set one up on my computer and allow you to download the file from there.
