Re: [RESOLVED] Best practice for deinterlacing 25FPS TS?
If you have doubts about your source stream, you can use a deinterlacer that can avoid touching progressive frames, such as FieldDeinterlace, TDeint, etc.

@AJR
It's a common mistake to use encoding settings to determine if the material is interlaced. It is not reliable. You have to visually inspect the material.

Re: DGDecNV Latest Build 2046
I slipstreamed VP6 (Maxwell) support into 2046, so re-download if you need it. All you need is to take the new NV12ToRGB24_sm_50.cubin and put it in your existing installation. Be sure to use the correct 32-bit or 64-bit version. VP6 doubles the decode frame rate. The GTX 750 Ti has a VP6 and is ine...

Re: Configuring Nvidia
The double rate option retains all the temporal information contained in the source stream, so it is useful for streams like sports action, etc. Single rate deinterlacing discards half the temporal information.

Re: DGIndexNV strategy for TS errors?
Please don't mention commercial products here. I consider it spam. Yes, I know you were only offering information. You're confusing me now. You said the files are broken into 1GB pieces and then you say "the entire file is 5GB". I will assume you mean you have 5 1G files. If you can give me all of t...

OK, I found the source code for b20, b21, and b22 on my FTP.
I will try to find time tomorrow to see where that dependency came from.

Re: DGIndexNV strategy for TS errors?
Hi Hello. What is really baffling, though, is when I play the joined raw TS file in VLC, the audio sync is PERFECT. Yes, there are glitches in the video where the files were originally switched, but the audio remains in perfect sync. How does VLC manage to do it? It reads the PTS timestamps and use...

Re: DGMVCSource b22 and VC++2012
May be a while as I want to implement HW deinterlace/crop/resize first.
Sadly, I did not keep source for b20 so I don't know what might have caused the dependency. Can you use dependency walker on b22 to see what it thinks is missing? Seems I asked that once already.

Re: DGMVCSource b22 and VC++2012
What about b22? What happens with that? If it fails, what does dependency walker say about it?
To be honest, I'm not that interested in DGMVCDecode for two reasons: 1) it was only a test run for DGDecIM, and 2) MVC support will be added to DGDecIM.

Re: Best practice for deinterlacing 25FPS TS?
In general that is reasonable. Be aware that use_pf assumes the stream has correct signaling, which is not universally true. The most reliable way to determine whether a video has interlaced "content" is to inspect it visually. There are several cases where the stream indications are not reliable. M...

Re: DGAVCDecDI 64-bit?
It's just not trivial and dropping all my projects and ongoing activities to work on a dead project, I just can't justify it. I don't even have the source online anymore and I'd have to dust off disks, recreate everything, install some 64-bit Avisynth, try to get a functioning 64-bit diavc.ax, and g...

Re: Where to use the DGI files?
Thanks, I will do it there. Do you have any suggestions which topic should I choose? The Avisynth Usage forum will be fine. But you may also want to consider Newbies if you are somewhat inexperienced. Also, do you have any utilities that could create an avisynth script from the project files? The s...
