avisynth+ "DGDecodeNV_DGSource() does not have any MT-mode specification"

Hello. I started to look at logging in a rather long and torturous grab-and-rehack-and-add evolving avisynth+ template script with: SetLogParams("__vid__.debug.log", LOG_INFO) LogMsg(Time("%Y-%m-%d %I:%M:%S %p, %z") + ": Start of debug logging", LOG_INFO) When I noticed the logging yields the messag...

many thanks for your tools

I am sorry for your bereavement. However ... as heartless as it may appear ... we live yet, and DG tools still rules ! :salute: And let us make hay while the sun shines, before the youngies that follow inevitably recreate the world in their way. I wonder what wondrous things the next generation will...

many thanks for your tools

My wife's father passed away on Friday and it falls to me to [continue to cheaply] convert their collection of memories from scratchy Super8/VHS onto DVD, for the family. A goodly age, 87, filled with life and an amazing amount of travel for people of that period, and in the end a really fine passin...

actual video colour range (PC or TV) into log file

Ah, the wonders of google as an external memory when one's own is in the process of failing :) I am now back to avisynth+ x64 and enjoying the historical posts about having used it so that I can recycle some bits of them. The great news is DG tools work flawlessly as expected. The sad thing is I pop...

DRM on DG tools

I have instructed Rocky to remove DRM from all DG tools. We will create some perks for registered users, to reward existing donors, and to provide some incentive for future donations in support of development. Hello. Perhaps have I missed an update/post in relation to perks ? I am willing to donate...

Thank you. I'll post an issue on the git site.

I'm considering going back to avisynth x64 for this ... I know there's a multi version installer tool somewhere, I just need to locate the link :P

Thank you ! Unfortunately the DVD Recorder is an LG RC689D https://www.lg.com/au/support/manuals?csSalesCode=RC689D.BAUSLLK As far as I can see, no passthrough. Never mind, I'll do what I can in software. The video is a hand-me-down from elderly relatives (and that takes some doing at my age :)) who...

actual video levels (PC or TV) into log file

Ah. I suppose "ffprobe.EXE" -show_streams something.MPG does the trick. It's in there somewhere, I'm guessing from header info, "color_range=tv". [STREAM] index=0 codec_name=mpeg2video codec_long_name=MPEG-2 video profile=Main codec_type=video codec_tag_string=[0][0][0][0] codec_tag=0x0000 width=720...

actual video colour range (PC or TV) into log file

Hello. I have a number of mpeg2 video clips produced by a DVD recorder (from VHS tapes) where I do not know the actual "Colour Range" - TV or PC - in the clips. I don't necessarily believe any header info (if such exists); having said that, mediainfo reports nothing in that regard anyway. I'm not su...

seeking advice with pulldown and deinterlace

Oh. I seem to have lucked out with at least one file by using the below.. video = core.dgdecodenv.DGSource(r'D:\VRDTVSP-SCRATCH\file.dgi', fieldop=1) # force film video = core.avs.PVBob(video,order=1,mode=0) # single framerate deinterlacing) # after force film The audio seems to stay in sync, even. ...

seeking advice with pulldown and deinterlace

Hello. I'm in PAL world, and never see Pulldown. Unfortunately for once, I am. I need to deinterlace/transcode a DVD purchased as present, to Progressive mpeg4 for display by non-DVD devices. Unfortunately I had to resort to VLC to get the intermediate .mpg files and mediainfo thinks they're progres...

Possible virus detected in DGMPGDec 2.0.0.3 download

cough ... ;) wiping my PC and re-installing from an older system image backup made the error go away.

It seems something may be funny with Win Defender local config, perhaps once it gets something tweaked sometime, somehow, then it stays that way and finds something that isn't there.

Thankyou, yes, that works fine, eg Bitrate (Avg): 2.974 OK, with the fix I wasn't sure if commandline processing had some different code paths :) ... 1970's/80's coding styles at this end, plus years working with the French (who sometimes made different "of course it works like that" assumptions whi...

DGIndexNV some logfile values are blank

Thank you, hydra3333 . Bitrate is not read from the stream but rather it is calculated from a preview of the video. The preview must be at least a second long. If you simply load the stream and index it without previewing then the bitrate is not calculated and is unavailable for inclusion in the lo...

Hello. I have a range of .mp4 h.264 files where DGIndexNV produces a log which looks like this: Stream Type: MP4 Video Type: AVC Profile: High Level: 4 Coded Size: 1920x1088 PAR: 1:1 Display Size: 1920x1080 Frame Rate: 25.000000 fps Colorimetry: Unknown [2] Frame Structure: Frame Type: Coded Number:...

Greetings and other salutations. I'm not sure where to plonk this query, so here seems as good as any given it seemingly involves mainly DG NV decodes. I did a quick search for "concurrent" and didn't readily spot anything. Since I have a 3900X and am not too worried about cpu cores, I would like (f...

Yes,

Code: Select all

Frame Rate: 25.000000 fps
Now it works for me too. Both vrd5 and vrd6 qsf'd files :bravo:

Thank you !
