Cannot demux on particular UHD bluray with DoVi
@ Sonic3R Curly is a man's man, no she! Look at the MPLS chapter count and the duration. If still in doubt do a preview. @ renols Can you please test this version with the skip first M2TS option? I intentionally do not save the state of the skip first checkbox in the Choose MPLS File dialog. Use th...

Cannot demux on particular UHD bluray with DoVi
Hi. Yes, that actually seems to work. When I open disk and enter the demux menu, I just see a lot of 2 channel DTS HDMA tracks. If I then go to the open menu, and delete the first m2ts file (00005.m2ts) it looks like dgindexnv "opens" the disk again, and the demux menu now looks correct, with TrueHD...

Cannot demux on particular UHD bluray with DoVi
Hi. The problem with that disc, is that it has an 18 second m2ts file which has very different audios than the main m2ts. bdinfo can somehow show the correct info, but eac3to, dgindexnv, tsmuxer and what else, will show "wrong" information. You will have to use dgdemux and select "skip first m2ts" ...

OK boys and girls, try this out: http://rationalqm.us/misc/DGIndexNV_test.rar Right click and Save As if your browser fscks with you. You have to update with the DGDemux in there too. The only differences to the previous test version are that the hidden streams are marked with an asterisk in the De...

OK, thank you, Mr Guest 2 . I will check with the Star Trek II disk a bit later today, and come back with the result. renols Just tested it. The demux menu looks correct. Hmm, $137.00 for that. Can't justify that. I'll have a look at the bdinfo and tsmuxer source code to see if there is any enlightenment in there. I can tell you that we won't implement a BD menu parser. EDIT: I found a rip on-hand that contains hidden tracks so I'll use that to investigate. Hi Rocky...

Hi. The ones marked with an * in bdinfo as I understand it, are tracks that are not shown in the menu when the disc is played back, and the tracks can't be selected from the audio/subs menu during playback either. Meaning they are "hidden" from the user. On the disc in question when the disc is inse...

Hi. If what I request is because I am not aware of how things work, let me apoligize ahead of time. My request concerns discs with more than one version of a movie and using seamless branching. Example of disc is Star Trek II, The Wrath of Khan, which contains Directors Cut and Theatrical Cut. Hm, l...

DGDecNV cropping improvement
Hi. Just curious. What is the status of this crop scan feature? Right now I am loading the dgi file into megui, and then tell it to do a mod2 autocrop. Not sure how many samples it picks throughout the movie, but it only takes a few seconds. To be honest I haven't checked with a movie like that Batm...

Change from 222 to 224 regarding local caracters?
Hi. I compared the 222 and the 224 dgi files, and it is quite clear that UTF8 is the problem. Depending on what program I use to open the file, the "æ" looks correct or just some weird sign. I can also just make sure that I always rename the source file. This is kinda like I had to remove some manif...

Change from 222 to 224 regarding local characters?
Hi. I updated to 224 today and there seems to be some change with localization between 222 and 224. I have a .ts file with the letter "æ" in the filename. With 222 it works just fine. After changing to 224 I have to rename the file to not have the "æ" letter in the file name. I am sure it is some UT...

Hi. Not sure if I can write here when marked resolved. Been doing a lot of tests and writing with x264 developers. Hi.
Thank you very much for figuring it out.
I guess that the fact that it worked in avisynth, should have pointed me towards x264.
I will try to file a report on it.

Just a small update. I just tried to change the letter "ø" to "oe" and the letter "æ" to "ae" in the filename before starting to work with it. Re: DGIndexNV versus DGDemux
Hi.
Just a report on demux on .ts files.
Tried with rc7 and it is at least 3 times faster than 221.
dgi files are identical and audio tracks have same size (have not binary compared).

Re: DGIndexNV versus DGDemux
Hi.
Just demuxed a 4k disk using rc4, without selecting the video.
It created a zero byte h265 file.
Looks like rc4 creates a 0 byte video file if video is not selected for demuxing.

Re: DGIndexNV versus DGDemux
Hi.
Did a small test with rc4 on an mkv file.
I did it without demuxing the video at first.
rc4 creates a 0 byte h264 file, while 221 doesn't.
Other than that the demuxed files all have the same size. Haven't binary compared them.

Hi.
Just did a test with most recent rc on one of the blurays I tested with older rc, and it seems to have become even faster then before.
Maybe just 5 seconds or so, but its still 5-10%.
Getting better and better

Re: Problem with SUP files
Hi Rocky.
I can confirm that the 10 minute difference in General section is now gone, and all now show the saem as if I use the eac3to sup files.
Were there something weird with the sup files on this specific disc?
