Do this first please:
Open a DOS window and do ipconfig /all
Leave it showing.
Open DGIndexNV and show the Help/About dialog
Make a screenshot showing the ipconfig results and the machine ID.
Reboot and repeat that.
Show me both screenshots.
Thank you.

Re: More help with Multidecimate
That's strange. Can you tell me which version of VirtualDub you are using?
Does it happen with the sample you gave me?

Re: More help with Multidecimate
After you open the script in VirtualDub, just do File/Preview input... Wait for it to play all the way through, then close VirtualDub. When I do that with your sample I get this: 0 0.000000 1 32.687029 2 11.233306 3 0.665847 4 11.643914 5 2.946577 6 3.561256 7 0.692229 8 2.392039 9 3.160094 10 2.075...

Re: More help with Multidecimate
What settings are you using? If frames at the beginning look like duplicates due to your chosen threshold, then they will be lost.

Re: Licence problems
How did you query that motherboard ID and can you do it with standard code that will work on all systems?
@dansus
The machine ID is derived directly from the IP address, so I am baffled. I will make a diagnostic load for you later today.

Re: Licence problems
Sorry, but I want to troubleshoot the issue first. If at any time you prefer a refund please advise. Apparently your IP address is changing on every reboot. We have to make that stop. Do you have a router connected to the PC? If so, please give make and model, also how is it configured to assign IP ...

Re: Licence problems
You didn't say whether a simple reboot is enough to change the ID and whether it does so every time, etc. Please give me as much info as possible so I can make a useful diagnostic build. Thanks.

Re: Licence problems
Please email me your current license file and user ID. Are you asserting that your user ID changes on a simple reboot? If so I would want to give you a diagnostic program to find out what might be happening. I'm not going to just periodically set you to 0. I'd prefer to give you a refund as the soft...

He he. The important qualifier that you apparently missed was "at least". But your apparent regard for my hero Vincent compels me to try to elaborate helpfully for you. I have to give a talk on foundations of QM at a SPIE conference in August and then I am visiting the UK in September. Maybe somethi...

We'll have to wait for a response from DiAVC then. I don't know if it runs on Win8.

Re: DiAVC registration fails
It depends on whether it is a DiAVC issue or DGAVCDecDI issue, Can you give me the exact error message you get? Also, can you decode using DiAVC using a DirectShow player?

Re: Help with multidecimate
My friend, I don't have time to repeat the same questions over and over. I asked you: "I see that there are duplicates within the moving vehicle segments. Did you want to remove them or not?" Do you have an answer for that? Does that account for your 5% mismatch and is it really critical for your ap...

Re: Help with multidecimate
First you were talking about duplicate removal and now you are talking about pattern recognition. MultiDecimate cannot do pattern recognition. I suggest that you try some time-lapse forums to get a solution, as this forum is for support of my tools, and none of them can isolate license plates as you...

Re: Help with multidecimate
Can't you get an MPG out of that camera, instead of AVI? I can't tell you in advance if I will be able to play any AVI, unless it is Xvid, Divx, or HUFYUV. I regret that I don't have time to jump through hoops to help you, so please make it easy.

Re: Help with multidecimate
I can't open FFDS in VirtualDub. Please use the native stream or a common video codec such as HUFYUV. Thank you.
