Help with DGDecNV vs LWLibavSource + TIVTC

Doh, sorry. Yes, I accidentally uploaded a reencode. :/
Here's a link to the mkv. :hat:
(will also adjust the link in the first post)

Thanks!

fieldop in MPEG2Source?

You can control that using the Field_Operation in the D2V file (just edit the D2V file). The reason it is that way is that in DGIndex the field operation is implemented for display, so it is controlled by a DGIndex setting and passed to the DLL via the D2V file. I would prefer not to have to edit t...

Help with DGDecNV vs LWLibavSource + TIVTC

I got a source that is soft telecined, I know I could handle it with fieldop=1, which works fine. (So yes, I can handle the source fine.) My problem is, that I don't understand why I get different matches/results when using: clip = core.tivtc.TFM(clip=clip) clip = core.tivtc.TDecimate(clip=clip) dep...

fieldop in MPEG2Source?

If it's not much hassle, would it be possible to add 'fieldop' in MPEG2Source as it is used in DGDecNV/DGSource ?

Re: [RESOLVED] x64 version of DGDecode.dll?

Is there an update on this, in regard of there being a 64bit build (that works) of DGDecode? I can confirm that D2VSource does seem to work fine, but I would prefer a 64bit build of DGDecode if it exists. (If it's too much hassle I'll stick with D2VSource when using 64bit Avisynth on systems without...

Re: Split - Binaries Update Notification Thread

Okay, so my best option is to write a script that regularly downloads all the DG tools I use compare the checksum of each tool against the last version I have and send me an email in case something changes.
Not what I hoped for, but hey that's live.

Split - Binaries Update Notification Thread

Please split the "Binaries Update Notification Thread" into a thread per tool.
It's getting kind of annoying to get the the notification for 'DGDemux/DGDemuxGUI slipstream', when I don't even know or use the tool.
On the other hand I like to get updates for most of the other tools of DG,...

Re: DGIndexNV closing,... (DG 2053.0.0.172 + NV 419.35)

Tested the dlls and seems like this happens when dui70.dll (version 6.1.7600.16385) is inside the same folder as DGIndexNV.dll Since I'm not sure why that specific dll is inside the folder I'll simply rename it till I stumble over a filter that doesn't work anymore. (No clue why that dll would inter...

Re: DGIndexNV closing,... (DG 2053.0.0.172 + NV 419.35)

Does that mean doing any one of them crashes, or do them in sequence? any one of these :) Let's assume it's any one of them. So you open DGIndexNV and then do File/Open and it immediately crashes, without you specifying a file and hitting OK? Yes, the open dialog doesn't appear. Program simply clos...

Re: DGIndexNV closing,... (DG 2053.0.0.172 + NV 419.35)

You misunderstood me there. 32bit DGIndexNV closes as soon as I: a. click on File->Open b. click File->Open Project c. press F2 as long as DGIndexNV.exe and DGDecodeNV.dll reside inside my normal avisynthPlugins-folder. When copying those two files into a separate folder where they are on their own,...

Re: DGIndexNV closing,... (DG 2053.0.0.172 + NV 419.35)

Yeah, you are right it seems to be loading something additionally. When copying DGIndexNV and DGDecode.dll in a separate folder, DGIndexNV works fine. Problem is, that when I copy those files back (+ the new DGIndexNV.ini) the problem is still there. :/ Any hint what other files could cause problems...

Re: DGIndexNV closing,... (DG 2053.0.0.172 + NV 419.35)

Will try to figure out the driver problem. :/ Any idea what is causing DGIndexNV 32bit to close when calling File->Open (or File->Open Project)? (the gpu drivers shouldn't be involved at that point) ----- Okay, HEVC 10bit works again. Manually deleted a few additional files, reinstalled the whole dr...

[RESOLVED] DGIndexNV closing,... (DG 2053.0.0.172 + NV 419.35)

Today I updated my NVIDIA drivers and DGIndexNV, now with NVIDIA drivers 419.35: Using 32bit DGIndexNV 2053.0.0.172 I start DGIndexNV, but when triggering File->Open (or pressing F2), DGIndexNV simply closes. Using 64bit DGIndexNV 2053.0.0.172 I start DGIndexNV, but when triggering File->Open (or pr...

Slipstream XXX

Last release changed the .dgi format which to me seems to be a rather major change for a slipstream release.
I'm wondering what is the criteria under which you would increase the version number and not only do a slipstream release?

Re: Do you see a problem with this file?

Tested yours and VSEdit complains starting at line 3 Note that I use r'----' and you use "----" You use backslashes inside your path which is why the r is needed, I always use slashes. :) Can you post the DGI file? Sure. :) Using goncas dgi file I get: Python exception: DGSource: DGIndexNV/DGDecode...
