Re: Decomb vthresh Clarification
Please provide an unprocessed source sample that I can use to duplicate that. I went through to check the same trouble spots again, and I must conclude that the problem of excessively high vmetric values was something you already fixed in the latest version. Using Avisynth 2.5.8 and Decomb 5.2.2 wa...

Re: Decomb vthresh Clarification
I'm trying to IVTC DVD content, but I'm having trouble understanding the best way to set the vthresh value. From what I can tell by taking screenshot comparisons and using post=3 and show=true, it's necessary to select a high enough vthresh value to detect all combed frames, as a value that's too l...

Re: Licence problems
All I can advise is to add a license for each machine ID you experience. You are literally the only person among thousands reporting spontaneous machine ID changes.

Re: Licence problems
I have reset your count to 0. The machine ID does not change without some machine change. Usually it is caused by having different networking configurations, e.g., you switch a wireless connection on or off. Make a license for each configuration and put all of them into the same license.txt file, on...

Re: Dgindexnv is a very good tool, but……
If you have multiple configs giving multiple machine IDs, make a license for each one and add them all to your license.txt file, one per line.
If you exhaust your licenses send me an email and I will reset you.

Re: Invalid License Problems
So you already made a license for that networking setup. Switch to the other one and then get the machine ID for that from Help/About in DGIndexNV. Make a license for that machine ID and add it to your license.txt file.

Re: Invalid License Problems
You have to make a license for each networking configuration. The machine ID
will be different depending on which is enabled. Put both the license keys in the
same license.txt file, one per line. Then DGDecNV will use the right one as needed.

Re: Audio delay issues when extracting part of ts file
In the provided stream the audio is half a second behind. So if you want to cut the TS and have all the audio then you have to cut where the audio ends. Then you have the problem of how to get rid of the extra video. I cannot make a new TS with zero delay in DGDecNV! It is a decoder, not a muxer. Fu...

Re: Feature Requests
Help remind me what is an ES file..? As laserfan suggests, an ES file contains a single audio or video stream. For example, "movie.264" is a video ES file. An audio-only file is also an ES file, for example "movie.ac3". ES's get combined into containers like TS, PS, MKV, etc. And just wondering any...

Build 2045 ---------- * Include "demuxed." in the filename of a demuxed file only if the source stream is an elementary stream (ES). * Provide options for what the program response should be when an audio mismatch is seen. * Show the available template files in the AVS Template drop down menu and ma...

Re: Feature Requests
Can't always do that, in order to prevent overwrite if an ES file is loaded. I could prevent demuxing from an ES but that would preclude doing cuts of ES files.
So what I will do is include the 'demuxed' only if the source file is an ES.

Re: Cutting out adverts with trim and in-sync audio
I can't advise you on making MKV files. I would process it like this: vid=dgsource("monsterpython.dgi") aud=nicac3source("monsterpython PID 902 2_0ch 48KHz 384Kbps DELAY -552ms.ac3").delayaudio(-0.552) audiodub(vid, aud) trim(0,173) Note that I adjust for the audio delay, then dub them, and then trim...

Re: Bug report: Output Trimmed TS
Output Trimmed TS does not alter the stream or write any index. It simply cuts at transport packet boundaries.

Re: NVIDIA-graphic chips confusion
As far as video decoding is concerned, it is only the VP engine version that matters. VP5 is on both the 610 and the 650, so the performance will be very similar. I have not performed any testing or benchmarks to know if the deinterlacing performance differs between the two. Actually, I do not know ...
