Re: Tapatalk

I've been given to understand that sites designed for displays of reasonable size and resolution don't work well on a phone's tiny screen. The formatting is probably broken, and you probably have to scroll way more than you normally would to get anywhere. I would also surmise that with the push to d...

Re: Tapatalk

It would allow users to post on the forum from their mobile devices.

I don't really see the point, since anybody who wants to use your tools must already own a PC (generally with an nVidia GPU), so they're guaranteed to have a way to access the forum already if they use your software.

Oh, it looks like we got not a sub-forum, but a top-level forum. CUDA Filters are too proud to be subordinates of the DGDecNV forum! 8-)

Re: About DGDecomb

I would suggest leaving the DGDecNV forum the way it is, but create a sub-forum named "DGDecNV Plugins" or something like that where you can put threads to discuss all of these secondary filters that rely on DGDecNV. You can then have all of these "master" threads gathered in one place while regular...

Re: About DGDenoise

This might be a dumb question, but since you're working on adding new filters, are there any prospects for replicating the functionality of Decomb this way? That's my most-used filter, and getting a CUDA speedup for it would be welcome. I'm not sure how closely related this would be to your recent w...

Re: About DGDenoise

As long as regular users are only allowed to post BBcode, there is minimal security risk. You just don't want them to be able to post HTML/JavaScript. ;)

As are we all. I'm still languishing on 326.80, since they refuse to fix bugs for old cards.

Re: [RESOLVED] Latest DGIndexNV D3D error

I'd agree that it's interesting, but I certainly wouldn't risk my machine by trying it. :wow: I prefer to just leave Windows Update disabled, so the time it takes to apply updates remains irrelevant.

Re: [RESOLVED] Latest DGIndexNV D3D error

Apparently Windows update purposely makes Win7 updating very slow and irritating. :( There is speculation that MS stopped releasing service packs for Windows 7 so that applying updates one by one would be so annoying that people would give up and switch to Windows 8 to avoid the headache. I doubt t...

Re: Feature Requests

I could be wrong, but IIRC nVidia doesn't support it, because no user-facing content is ever lossless, so it's not something DG can fix without nVidia's help.

I knew you were smart, Aleron, now you confirm it. :ugeek: ;) I have researched the environmental issues for my drives and it's OK for my garage. You have to wait for the drive to come near room temperature before trying to access it, that's all. Freezing is not a problem. I'm more worried about he...

Re: fps?

Is your car in a garage most of the time? I would be worried about the strain on a HDD of the huge temperature swings that a car undergoes if it has to sit outside. Even so, I've been a bit worried about not having an "off-site" backup in the past, so perhaps I will start doing that, too. I wi...

I don't know, as someone who has had his car burgled more than once, I might be more inclined to put a backup disk inside a fireproof box, rather than in a car. :?

Wikipedia mentions that Mega didn't play nicely with IE10, so I guess it's no surprise that it doesn't work with IE11, either.

Re: 64-bit deflicker

Mega can be picky if you have NoScript enabled. You have to allow not one, but two different Mega domains in order for the site to work, at least in SeaMonkey.
