Still lying groggy in my nest right now.
Do you have a similar difference in the AVS scripts that were generated?

Compare the DGI files generated with the two DGIndexNV versions. How do they differ?
I'll test this after breakfast.

Try it directly with just your script and VirtualDub2 and report results. I am not responsible for what encoding apps do. Probably it's a unicode thing. Upgrade to the latest Win10 and then set the beta option to always use UTF-8 codepage in the regional settings. We just went through all this with ...

The fly in your ointment is that Microsoft detected it in VirusTotal. That complicates your theory that it is just your first PC. If it continues I may submit a sample to Microsoft. IIRC correctly, however, jdobbs hasn't had great luck doing that. I can imagine that they get thousands of submissions...

Kinda meant why would you have to test it given that I said it was fixed. Yeah, I know. Trust but verify. Actually made two slipstreams, the second a couple hours later. I just changed the dialog and menu names to "Template" and set the open dialog to show both *.avs and *.vpy. So make sure you down...

Why would you need it?

Didn't want to make a full slipstream for this so I just put the fix into 2.0.0.3. Re-download to get the fix.
The way it works is that the extension of the template file name will be used as the extension of the generated script file name.

I just updated Defender to the latest 1.329.2528.0 and the scan showed no threats. Can you try it?

Please tell me the specific version number of defender so I can tell Microsoft. Also try updating it and retesting.

Just ran it through VirusTotal. There was one detection by Microsoft and 62 all-clears from the others. False positives are not unheard of. I'll see if there is a way to submit a challenge to Microsoft about it.

Just scanned the ZIP file with Windows Defender. No threats found. Stock Win10 64 with latest updates.
I really prefer to get reports like this in PM because you can cause a lot of damage with unfounded reports.
You can try VirusTotal.

BlindPP with HBD?
I won't do anything on BlindPP unless a very convincing case is made, and that is not the case after some discussion here and in the linked thread. Don't hate me! Squirrels don't live that long.

C'mon, you think I didn't find that? There are only binaries there as far as I can see. Looking for C/C++ source code for Nic's postprocessing!

Good point! Not so minor. I didn't think of it when adding Vapoursynth support. I'll fix that up right away. Thank you for pointing it out, gonca.

Ha ha, your post and my edit passed like ships in the sea. What does BlindPP do that Deblock_QED does not? Please show with screenshots if possible. I looked at some comparisons I found on Doom9 and to me Deblock_QED crushed BlindPP. If it's all just to upgrade FunkyDeBlock and SoftSharpen I'm not t...

Revise DGDecode to add properties for Avisynth and Vapoursynth
Yeah, I knew I had set some Vapoursynth properties in the 64-bit DLL. I'll add the missing ones but don't plan on doing anything for Avisynth.

I know LigH has been waiting a long time for this. With an active request for BlindPP functionality enhancement from real.finder it seems an appropriate time to re-engage with this thread. Honestly, it seems unlikely anything will be done for BlindPP because it is fully wired for _asm. Functions com...

OK, looking for details...
Do you mean Avisynth+ or Vapoursynth? Please specify for each the specific properties you need to be set.

BlindPP with HBD?
OK, so it is useless. And MPEG2DecPlus does not include BlindPP(). So we'll have to do it all from scratch.
