[RESOLVED] External Drive Bay Affecting Machine ID and Using Up Licenses
Hi, I wanted to ask about this because it seems like the machine ID shouldn't change. On my media server, I've added a couple external hard drives via USB and I have a standard 2-drive bay (also USB) that I occasionally use to transfer data. These have not affected any of the versions of dgdecnv up ...

Re: Recent x264 Unable To Load DGDecodeNV.dll
Thanks for the update AY. Maybe you had something checked wrong and didn't notice. Happens to me a lot. Not so long ago I accidentally pumped that E15 crap into my gas tank and had to stare at my lit check engine light for 300 miles. Still, thanks for posting to warn about this. It shows you...

Re: Recent x264 Unable To Load DGDecodeNV.dll
I found the source of the problem and posted the fix on the doom9 thread. Essentially, I followed admin's lead and grabbed directly from kosimar's site too and immediately noticed the file sizes of my current x264 matched the x86_64 versions rather than the x86. I replaced the 64 versions with the 3...

Re: Recent x264 Unable To Load DGDecodeNV.dll
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try all suggested options and report back. It's strange since the only thing that changed was my x264 via the megui update process. Maybe something got clobbered there or the new build expects a DLL that wasn't included in the packaged update. I'm glad to hear it worked...

[RESOLVED] Recent x264 Unable To Load DGDecodeNV.dll
Hi,
Is anyone here having the issue I posted here at doom9? I've confirmed the issue on both my laptop and my main computer. So if you use x264 and plan on updating, you might want to hold off I guess.

Re: Failed to create video decoder (on GT 500 series)
Hi, the NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 635M Do you want me to create a new thread for this issue since the title of this one is focused on the GT 500 series? I'll provide whatever other info will help. Thank you. I guess that's because GeForce GT 635M is the 500 series, the GT 555M. (Unless you got the second e...

Re: Failed to create video decoder (on GT 500 series)
Hi, I'm having the same issue on my laptop that is now running Windows 10 Pro 64bit. I started with build 2051. My laptop has both an Intel HD 4000 integrated GPU as well the NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 635M (current driver is 361.91). I was running 2050 of DGIndexNV on the old Windows 8.1 64bit with no issue...

Re: Running CLI Hidden Still Steals Focus
This came up recently. I was not able to find a viable solution. I am open to suggestions. Hmmm, interesting. Am glad I'm not the only one. ;) From what I can tell, you're spawning the UI in a hidden state, is that correct or is DGIndexNV a true CLI app, i.e., console app? It would be nice to have ...

Hey, I ran into this issue again today with DGDecNV. Do you want me to start a new thread in the proper location or just keep it here? I'll explain further later. Thanks.

Re: Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
Thanks. I went ahead and refreshed my DLL from the 5.2.4 zip file and now it's working. Not sure what version was there but it should have been 5.2.4 as it had the same date on it. Thanks for the tip on the YV12.

Re: Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
What's your full script? Are you using AviSynth 2.5 or 2.6? I'm using 2.6, which may or may not make a difference in this case. I'm using 2.5.8 right now. I probably should upgrade to 2.6 but it's still in alpha right? Here's the full script (I added the hints parameter): LoadPlugin("E:\MultiMediaT...

Re: Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
@Aleron, Your contribution is not meager at all. You've helped me a great deal in just a couple posts. :D @admin, Do I need to get an updated decomb.dll? I did grab the latest from the main site, i.e., 5.2.4 which still requires the order parameter. To be sure I was using this latest version, I used...

Re: Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
Wow, that's good stuff. Thank you so much for taking the time and explaining. The MKV has the untouched elementary streams via MakeMKV. So there's no encoding as they're identical to what's on the DVD. The DVD is the original so the mastering is done by whomever MGM hired to do it. I bought the enti...

Re: Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
I can take a stab at it I guess if you link me to your sample, since admin hasn't been online since Saturday. That would be great if you have the time. :D Let me upload a little bigger sample that includes the start of the episode. It's the first 3+ minutes and may be around 160MB. I'll upload it l...

Re: Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
Have you tried downloading Decomb from the main site? Telecide ought to handle all of those problems. Yes, I tried all sorts of settings and combinations from doing the research on this and none of the results were acceptable. I was only able to accomplish one or the other but not both, i.e., combi...

Re: Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
Hey all, I think I found a solution for my problem. I did a little more research and found some posts pointing to HandBrake. I had never used this, but was able to install and determine it does have a CLI. I used a couple short clips to test the detelecine option and it works. I just finished encodi...

Re: Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
It's hard to say without seeing an unprocessed sample from the stream. Can you cut 50MB containing some frames like that and upload it somewhere for me. You can cut the VOB with DGSplit. I could start speculating but I prefer to see the stream and go straight to the correct answer. The usual term u...

Re: Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
SG-1 sadly cannot be inverse telecined to 23.976 fps without any side effects. It would require variable framerate to remove all interlacing and keep all frames. VFR (playback at 60 Hz TV frequency) isn't very suitable for fluidness, though. Plus it has a lot of grain and encodes would need huge bi...

Re: Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
Thanks a lot for your help. I'm uploading the clip now. I don't have high upload speed so it'll be a bit. I'll PM you the link to download when it's ready. I use MakeMKV to generate files from DVD before re-encoding them, so I used mkvmerge to create the clip. In case you want to know, here's my bas...

[RESOLVED] Getting "Scan Lines" When Using fieldop
I just got my 10-season collection of SG-1 on DVD and am re-encoding to AVC for my media server. They're mostly film, i.e., 95%+ so am using fieldop=1 in my AVS script. The result looks great (compared to using fieldop=0 with deinterlacing resulting in nasty jagged output) but I still get frames tha...

Yes, but the CUDA-related ones are ignored. Yep, thanks. So, just for fun, here's what I saw today. Encoding a full HD source (AVC) to MPEG2 DVD via HCEnc 026. DGDecNV 1st pass: pass 1 encoding time: 0:14:01 (840.97 s) fps: 128.6 DGDecIM 1st pass: pass 1 encoding time: 0:17:55 (1075.25 s) fps: 100....
