Re: GT 520 VP5 performance
More of a curiosity than anything. My coding abilities haven't progressed beyond the C++ classes I took in college. If anything, I was most likely going to compare to LAV CUVID Decoder and see if I could see any similar approaches and see if there was anyway to improve your stuff. Its all probably w...

Re: GT 520 VP5 performance
How are you calling the CUDA API? Is it possible to have a look at that section of the source code?

Re: GT 520 VP5 performance
Using your your comments about not changing the .dgi file, I ran the sample through DGIndexNV twice. Once with CUDA_Device=255 (My GTX 560 Ti) and once with CUDA_Device=1 (My GT 520) I updated my script so it only has this for the GTX 560 Ti: DGSource("Q:\DVR\wc_560ti.dgi") Q:\DVR>AVSMeter.exe wc_56...

GT 520 VP5 performance
I have started this thread in an attempt to continue the off topic conversation from this thread http://rationalqm.us/board/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=162 My ECS nVidia GeForce GT 520 came in today. It took some trial and error to get the speeds the doom9 forum mentioned in this thread http://forum.doom9.o...

Re: Image corruption
I concur it is probably in the sample you supplied. I muxed your .264 into a mkv and played it back with Media Player Classic - Home Cinema x64 1.5.2.3456 using CoreAVC I frame stepped through the footage and the imagery would mess up ever time the same way. I've posted the source file on mediafire ...

Re: [RESOLVED] Should DGDecNV work with Nvidia NVS 4200M?
I have a GT 520 ordered. When it gets in this week I'll compare its performance to my GTX 560 Ti. It may be everything an encoder needs. With its $50 price tag it could be awesome. If there are certain profiles or test I should do, please let me know

DGAVCDecDI 64-bit?
Your DGAVCIndexDIManual.html mentions a 64-bit implementation, but there is only a 32-bit executable in the current and previous zip package. di-avc.com offers a 64-bit .ax file. Was/will there ever be a 64-bit implementation of this software?
Your software is awesome regardless.

Re: DGAVCDecDI vs DGDecNV
I own both pieces of software. If you can provide me with the x264 encoding command line you use and a sample original file I can run it and let you know. If you don't want to provide an original file, if you can explain the type of original files you use I'm sure I can come up with something. For i...

Re: 2040 Runs GPU at 3D Frequencies until software is closed
I have installed 270.61, rebooted and the gpu still ramps up the frequencies when I load your software. When my GTX 460 gets back from Gigabyte (in a month or so) I will test that one. When my GT 520 get in next week I will test that one. Thank you for your fantastic response time! I tried setting a...

Re: [RESOLVED] Frame shown is not actual frame to encode v 2
Version 2040 does in fact mitigate my incorrect picture display when navigating on the timeline with double-rate deinterlacing enabled.
Thank you so much for fixing this so freaking fast.

[RESOLVED] 2040 Runs GPU at max until software is closed
I wanted to start with you are awesome at responding to this forum and fixing peoples problems. I always have gpu-z open with the Sensors tab selected. I have a GTX 560 Ti. I have found that 2040 release increases the GPU Core Clock, GPU Memory Clock, and GPU Shader Clock from the idle 50.6MHz, 67.5...

Re: Frame shown is not actual frame set to encode v 2039
I just realized this issue shows up because I have Video > Enable PureVideo Deinterlacer > Double Rate enabled. :( Start DGIndexNV.exe Press F2 to Open select "DGIndexNV 2011 08 05.demuxed.m2v" and click Open click OK on the File List Window Enable Video > Enable PureVideo Deinterlacer > Double Rate...

[RESOLVED] Frame shown is not actual frame to encode v 2039
Background I hadn't done HDTV capturing in about 3 or so months. I started back this week. I've been using MC-TVConverter 2 to convert the WTV files to its profile MPEG2 HQ so I can use DGIndexNV 2039 with my GTX 560 Ti (275.33) on Win7 x64 to cut the 6 parts of an episode out for encoding. MediaIn...
