thumbsup feature for forum posts ?

hello. i notice on some other forums, eg videoredo, that one can click on an icon for a post in order to give that post some form of recognition eg a thumbsup, rather than generating another post. will that ever be a feature in the DG support forum ? extremely disappointingly, but understandable sin...

Re: CUDA Suggestions and Talk

I live alone so I'm going crazy. I don't and I'm going crazier ;) :D Our Prime Minister has said for some time "at least six months" (in some form). Many official (or respected ;)) medical officers say even then at-risk people until a vaccine or mitigating medicine appears, if you don't want risk d...

Re: CUDA Suggestions and Talk

Goodness me, the youtube video examples look very nice ! So, are you asking for the code to somehow be incorporated into cudasynth (yay, although that wonderful initiative seems to have stalled, or worse) or perhaps into DGdecode ... I could live with that :) (although I'd guess the author here may ...

Re: [RESOLVED] Demuxed Dolby True HD has no core AC3 track

The power point looks a little funny though ;) Thanks. The outlet looks fine to me. You mean the location? That's pretty standard for a USA over-the-counter outlet within reach of a sink. The switch is for the garbage disposal and the little buttons control the GFCI functionality (test and reset). ...

CUDASynth 0.3: http://rationalqm.us/misc/CUDASynth_0.3.rar Make your DGI files with DGIndexNV 2053.0.0.179. Hello. There's been new releases since DGIndexNV 2053.0.0.179 and I wonder whether 0.3 is compatible ? And ... perhaps even maybe a CUDASynth v1.0 release say in 2020 ? edit: I unfortunately ...

Would it be possible to deliver P016 all the time and the user could then use ConvertBits(8) if 8 bit output was desired?
It would be interesting to see if any existing end-user scripts need changing to suit.
From the way you are talking, I suspect not.
Great ! :D

New PC, seeking advice to test 4k/hdr playback

4k/hdr Hello I have a new 3900X based PC, with an Nvidia 2060 Super video card and a BenQ EL2870U monitor (both of which can do 4k with HDR).: I am seeking advice on how to test it out a bit, under Win10x64 (with HDR turned on in windows settings) and display clips of 4k with HDR, and in particular ...

Beaut !

Now all I need to do is wait another 2 to 8 weeks for a 3900X to become available, and then the same or longer for 3600Mhz CL16 memory as well

any issues with rtx2060 super ?

My very old and slow PC crashes frequently now, due to a h/w issue. So, I am currently procuring items over time, to build a new PC; an AMD 3900X paired with an MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 2060 Super. Yes it's a low-end, low-power, new graphics card to align with budget constraints :) however this outdat...

:) and https://www.techpowerup.com/review/pci-express-4-0-nvme-ssd-test-amd-x570-ryzen-3000/4.html We were really curious to see what performance gains can be enjoyed when using a blazing-fast PCI-Express 4.0 NVMe SSD, so we ran extensive tests using actual real-life applications, not just synthetic...

Re: New PCI-E standards

I'm also in the (lengthy) process of acquiring bits and upgrading to 3900X / ASUS Crosshair VIII Hero X570. Can't find a board nor the cpu in Aus for love nor money at the moment. The 3900X seemed to be in a sweet spot for Mhz vs cores for non-overclockers. I spotted a review of a PCIE4 nvme ssd las...
