Sure, where should I upload it to ?
edit: here you go.

A 25Mb clip cut of it with VideoRedo. mediainfo appears to say it has the same characteristics. edit: tested and it produces the same issue.

Re: DGIndexNV log not showing apect ratio ?
Ah. Using the same script ... When used with LWLibavSource video=core.lsmas.LWLibavSource(source="D:\VRDTVS-SCRATCH\FILE.VRDTVS.qsf.mpg", ff_loglevel=6) The output seems correct with [SAR 64:45 DAR 16:9] Output #0, mp4, to 'G:\HDTV\000-TO-BE-PROCESSED-MOVIE-ONLY\z-test-01.mp4': Metadata: encoder : L...

DGSource seems to be delivering incorrect aspect ratio ?
Hello, I have an mpeg2 .mpg where DGIndexNV does not seem to log some key fields. For some reason, perhaps to do with that (I'm not sure), using latest ffmpeg with a small .vpy input to transcode into avc yields a different aspect ratio as compared to the source .mpg. I wonder why aspect ratio etc i...

Re: quick'n'dirty end-to-end test, ffmpeg accepting .vpy
OK, a 1.8Gb 4K .TS input did as expected. End-to-end run time was still dominated by the encoding. Speeds with encoding were close enough to ~66 fps / 61s elapsed. Except when we add say a denoise filter, eg DGDenoise vs ffmpeg's nlmeans, where .vpy DG result was ~52 fps / 77.095s to ffmpeg nlmeans ...

Re: quick'n'dirty end-to-end test, ffmpeg accepting .vpy
Looks like your input is a 1080 MP4 file. I don't know how good my MP4 stuff is as I used a very old MP4V2 codebase. Can you test a longer 4K transport or elementary stream? In my workflow, I always use VideoRedo "QuickStreamFix" cli to cleanup any captured .TS stream into a .mp4 effectively copyin...

quick'n'dirty end-to-end test, ffmpeg accepting .vpy
Hello. Since ffmpeg now directly accepts vapoursynth .vpy as input, I thought I'd have a look at it with DGstuff and broadly compare encode end-to-end start and end times using a small video at the same transcode settings. 1. ffmpeg using .vpy input, DGsource with single-framerate deinterlace, mild ...

Re: CUDA Suggestions and Talk
I deal with a mostly interlaced material, sometimes noisy and blocky. Would it be difficult to create a DGDeblock which handles 576i/p, 720p, 1080i/p ? Yes, I want to do a deblocker. You could help by providing typical samples and describing how you process them now. To be honest, I am not very fam...

I wondered what was going on, and just stumbled across what seem like the applicable posts in the other forum. Wouldn't be too fussed, seems like a few people with their own views who don't always appreciate great work and knowledgeable advice. Even though they seem good with using your older work ;...

thumbsup feature for forum posts ?
hello. i notice on some other forums, eg videoredo, that one can click on an icon for a post in order to give that post some form of recognition eg a thumbsup, rather than generating another post. will that ever be a feature in the DG support forum ? extremely disappointingly, but understandable sin...

I live alone so I'm going crazy. I don't and I'm going crazier ;) :D Our Prime Minister has said for some time "at least six months" (in some form). Many official (or respected ;)) medical officers say even then at-risk people until a vaccine or mitigating medicine appears, if you don't want risk d...

Re: CUDA Suggestions and Talk
Goodness me, the youtube video examples look very nice ! So, are you asking for the code to somehow be incorporated into cudasynth (yay, although that wonderful initiative seems to have stalled, or worse) or perhaps into DGdecode ... I could live with that :) (although I'd guess the author here may ...

The power point looks a little funny though ;) Thanks. The outlet looks fine to me. You mean the location? That's pretty standard for a USA over-the-counter outlet within reach of a sink. The switch is for the garbage disposal and the little buttons control the GFCI functionality (test and reset). ...

CUDASynth 0.3: http://rationalqm.us/misc/CUDASynth_0.3.rar Make your DGI files with DGIndexNV 2053.0.0.179. Hello.
