Re: Blocks instability in MPEG2 (v2038)

I tried this at home where I have a GTX 460 running driver version 266.58. I do not see the error.

Please advise ASAP what card you have and your driver version.

Re: Blocks instability in MPEG2 (v2038)

I have sent this to Nvidia for their comment. It decodes fine in DGIndex, so it appears to be a CUVID issue.

Please advise what Nvidia card you are using as I need to know if you have VP2 or VP4 engine.

Marking resolved. First user was set straight in email; second user has not responded to my suggestion so I assume it is squared away.

Re: DGIndexNV is dropping frames at the end

In the very most cases the last frame is not needed anyway, but it would be nice to know that it was dropped. Maybe you could just add a warning message when this problem occurs that the last frame of the files: a,b,c... had to be dropped, that shouldn't be too difficult? I have added a warning as ...

Re: Instabilities with Forceware 270.x

All I can think of is the new drivers need more graphics card memory and you run out with the second instance now.

How much memory do you have on your card?

Generally, I discourage multiple simultaneous encoding like you are doing.

It should work. Please post your script. Of course you have to open an AVS script and not the DGI file.

If so, you are the only person out of several thousand that it happens for.

Double check that theory and report back, please.

Re: Invalid License File!

Make a license for each situation and then put them both in your license file, one per line. Then it will work either way.

You're still instantiating more instances than are needed. Use the trick we gave you to eliminate one instance.

Re: Hardware-generic DGDecodeNV/DI AVS script?

Well, two weeks for a DI/NV merger was overly optimistic.

Obviously I haven't stopped development of DI or NV. When I accumulate sufficient new stuff, or need to fix an urgent bug, I will make a release. There is no set periodic release.

Re: [RESOLVED] Repeat frames at end of encode

Again, I can help only with a stream and a description of how to make the problem occur. As you are the only one reporting this, and it works fine when serving into VirtualDub/AvsP, and you have some fishy stuff going on with your system, I am inclined to believe that there is no issue with DGDecNV....

Re: Anaglyph to SBS

I had a look but quickly rather into more problems than just your path problem, like you still haven't fully completed it, e.g., there are still DSS() calls taking DGI files as input. That's pretty clueless. Sorry, but I just don't have the time to debug your script. It's clear that there is no DGDe...

Re: Repeat frames at end of encode

I had a similar case where my graphics card got into an insane state and it required a power shutdown to get straight. I'll mark this resolved but feel free to re-open it if needed.

Re: Anaglyph to SBS

Then your main script is messed up somehow. Can't you add some debugging to see why? E.g., print the value of the string passed to DGSource().

Re: Repeat frames at end of encode

I don't see your process clearly. Is it like this: 1. Capture TS. 2. Edit/cut TS with TS Packet editor. 3. Encode. 4. Put in MKV. 5. Edit MKV with some cutting tool. If not please clarify. What is the purpose of the TS Packet editor operation? Is the repeat frame present in the encoded AVC raw file ...

Does the repeated frame occur at this point (i.e., in the complete encode) or only later in the process?

Re: Anaglyph to SBS

It has nothing to do with the card. The error is SIMPLE...the file in the DGSource() invocation cannot be *opened* [fopen() on the string passed to DGSource() fails]. So either you have the path wrong, or you have the filename wrong. if ((m_decoder.DGI_File = fopen(path, "r")) == NULL) { env->ThrowE...

Re: Repeat frames at end of encode

I'll post you a couple of DVD's with the original TS file and my MKV encode. I don't really need to see any encodes. I need the source file. When I have seen this symptom before, it has always been due to cutting that left just the start of a frame at the end of the file, i.e., an incomplete coded ...
