Hi Boulder.
As a start, can you give me:
1. Index file for loaded M2TSs.
2. Index file for remuxed MKV.
3. A link to purchase the exact same Bluray.
Thanks.

Re: Any gain in going from VP5 to VP6?
One possible advantage in your case might be faster deinterlacing, although I can't vouch for it because I do not have a VP6 yet. Also, random access speed will be almost doubled. So if you have use cases where random access is important, or even when moving around on the timeline with your script o...

Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
You hit ESC before the project has finished, or after? It looks like before from the MOV you sent. But the stream you provided is too small and I can't hit ESC before it finishes. I tried on a long stream I have and can't duplicate it.

Always happy to be of assistance to a fine, patient fellow like you. And the tools you gave me are interesting and may be useful to me. Please let me know if all the issues have been resolved. I'm not sure if your initial report about crashing when using x264 is still a real issue or was caused by t...

Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
OK, re-download 2047 DGIndexNV. Set the new INI option to 1. It should now work as you desire.
Sorry for the misunderstanding and good luck with your projects.

Actually you want a way to automatically say Yes with an INI file option, and not No as I implemented. I will revise the change to reverse it.

Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
The streams have either scrambled or corrupt audio tracks. If you claim it is not scrambled or corrupted then demonstrate a tool that successfully extracts those tracks. ts2aac using the command line you gave me extracts only the single track validly seen by DGIndexNV for both the streams you gave m...

Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
DGDecNV does not support streams that change number of audio channels or audio types (such as at a commercial). You'll have to cut them before processing, or use some other tool for extraction while disabling audio in DGIndexNV. If you have other issues not caused by changing audio, then please tell...

Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
I ran that command on the stream you gave me. It extracted only the stream that DGIndexNV correctly reports. There are no other valid audio tracks in that stream. And I already explained the reason for the crash in that stream you gave me. You didn't listen or you didn't understand what I said. Read...

Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
Videos of you doing stuff on the PC are useless to me. Screenshots are useless too. Give me the streams and written instructions to duplicate the problem(s). Without those, I cannot help you. Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
If you think I am incorrectly detecting MPEG-1 then give me the stream please. The manual clearly describes the functions of the program. You disable audio streams in the Audio Demux dialog. Or you enable the warning and refuse the stream when you reply to the popup. As I said you shoot yourself in ...

Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
eac3to also cannot do anything useful with that audio and the demux fails. So it looks like you are shooting yourself in the foot by enabling this stream.

Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
DGDecNV does not support MPEG-1 video!
It looks like the warned audio stream really is encrypted (or is corrupt), because if I disable it I get no crashes, but if I enable it I get crashes. Please try again and disable that audio stream per the warning and report the result.

Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
I had some spare time so I slip-streamed a new option to allow you to disable that warning. Re-download 2047 and update DGIndexNV. Then open it and close it right away. Then edit the last option in the INI file to value 1, as described in the updated manual.

Re: A problem about DGIndexNV 2047
There is no way currently to disable that warning. Maybe it can be added in a next version.
Regarding the crash, does it happen with all streams and all encode jobs? I really can't see how the changes in 2047 would cause this.

All the new version announcements are made in that thread. Maybe you should consider following it.
I mean, c'mon, what do the instructions tell you to do when your machine ID changes? Make a new license! Is it really so hard?
You threw away the instructions? Blame it on me!

Re: double framerate deinterlacing using DGDegNV/purevideo or QTGMC
- opening in avisynth 2.5.7MT using the old non-NV-DG or the new-NV-DG (depending, occasionally the NV crashes on me whereas the old doesn't) DGDecNV shouldn't crash and I would want to fix that ASAP. Can you tell me more or give me a stream so I can duplicate your crash? I am wondering - your view...

Re: DGDecIM QuickSync-Enabled AVC/MPEG2/VC1 Decoder and Frame Server
Sorry, I don't know anything about avs2yuv and this forum is for support of my tools only. I suggest that you ask about that at Videohelp forum. Regarding transcode rates, any improvement due to speeding up the decoding will depend on a lot of factors, but especially the load of the encoding part. D...

Re: DGDecIM QuickSync-Enabled AVC/MPEG2/VC1 Decoder and Frame Server
750 Ti will literally obliterate an 8800 on all counts. I would upgrade in a heartbeat.
Sorry, I can't advise you about nvenc stuff. Videohelp would be a better place to ask.
When I get my 750 Ti in not too long, I may get more involved in GPU encoding.

Re: telecide and y0/y1 usage
I can see where it can come up with 88%. Because the majority of videos that I work with have no pulldown flags, it isn't worth modifying my zshell script to work with so few files, considering that telecide/decimate is doing such a perfect job dealing with all that I throw at it (other than the re...

Re: telecide and y0/y1 usage
How tolerant is the software to 3:2 pulldown errors? By this I mean every now and then the equipment used to create the 29.97 tape will drop a frame. For example, the five frame pulldown pattern starts at 0 and ends at 4. Some where in the program, one of the frames is dropped, resulting in the pat...
