Re: About DGDenoise
If you feel in the mood, would it be possible to make a gpu deblocker ? Our local OTA stations almost always broadcast our footy games at very blocky mpeg2 576i or infrequently blocky mpeg4 1080i, where the feed has been sourced from a cable provider and horribly mangled for (free TV) re-broadcast a...

Re: About DGDenoise
yes, thanks,
implying clip was not a parameter.
that is what I was asking, the manual says thisDGDenoise(clip, strength=0.5)
Code: Select all
DGDenoise(float strength, float blend, bool chroma, int searchw, int device)

Re: About DGDenoise
A quick dummy's usage question (vapoursynth).
is there a way to specify which clip to operate on ? e.g. seeking a "clip" parameter ...

DGDenoise(float strength, float blend, bool chroma, int searchw, int device)
DGSharpen(float strength, int device)

Re: About DGDenoise
My goodness, just arrived home tonight and thought all my Christmases had come at once - a nice DG LSF. Thank you very much. Now I'm off to give it a try, and then change most of my workflows over to vs/dg/denoise/sharpen -> vspipe -> ffmpeg/nvenc -> mp4box and remove unsharpmask from the ffmpeg/nve...

Re: About DGDenoise
So you want to get more use out of your card, eh? OK, other than QTGMC (mvtools etc.) what else would you like to see implemented on CUDA? It's easy to make pipelines of kernels with intermediate frames stored in device memory. Then only the source and destination frames need to copied to/from the ...

[RESOLVED] lost binaries download link for DGDecIM
Hello.
I have lost the binaries download link for DGDecIM
Is it posted somewhere, or maybe could you please re-post it here ?
(I have donated, and had downloaded "b50" circa 11/2016).
... Wishing you a happy and prosperous new year, 2017 !

Re: x64 ?
Thanks. It seems to be an older build. I reckon I'll try d2vsource just out of interest, unless you recommend against it.

[RESOLVED] x64 version of DGDecode.dll?
Thinking of using this in vapoursynth x64. Is there a 64-bit DGDecode.dll available somewhere ?

Re: Requesting test files for my GPU denoiser
Thank you for a new filter. Place all the files together in one directory. You may not separate them because DGDenoise() finds its needed files by using the localtion of DGDenoise.dll. What does this mean when using vapoursynth, say if I have dgdenoise in a non-autoloaded folder and load it manually...

I'm about to find out, after "RTFM" and googling to nick someone else's VS scripts for using QTGMC, Degrain2, LSFmod, reinterlacing, etc.admin wrote:I can't help you with Vapoursynth syntax because I do not use it. Is it working for you?

Thank you.
Just checking, only 32-bit 2051 is supported in vapoursynth, not 2052 ?
Like this ?

Re: Survey: Who still needs Avisynth 2.58 support in DGDecodeNV?
As for AVS 2.5x support - dump it. I only know of two guys on D9 who still use it, one still uses Gordian Knot to convert videos (!) and the other thinks he cannot live without the MT() multi-threading plugin. LOL. I know who the second guy is. That's likely me. Any pointers to a reliable 2.6 avisy...

Re: Survey: Who still needs Avisynth 2.58 support in DGDecodeNV?
Oh dear I use TSP's 2.57 Mt and had no intention of changing as it's been reliable. I'd also looked at vapoursynth and had decided against it. Also, what should I read into this (4 Mar 2016) http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1759402#post1759402 which seems to indicate that DGdecNV is supported in VapourSynth because it shows how to use it (code below) and says "DGSource works fine btw". import vapoursynth as vs core = vs.get_core() c...

Re: [RESOLVED] Native Vapoursynth support
According to the Vapoursynth documentation it should be able to use DGSource() in 32-bit ... Use FFMPEGSOURCE. It rocks. Ooh, icon-looking-things (says an ex assembler/fortran programmer from the 70s). Righty, DGSource() in 32-bit, will be it then. I assess 0.00% chance of the Vapoursyn...

Re: [RESOLVED] Native Vapoursynth support
Thank you very very much. I rely on a rock solid stable (for me,at least) 2.57 for my workflows.I won't leave 2.5 users in the lurch. Backward compatibility is very important to me.

I don't recall) and used that this time. I decided to donate again anyway, since I use the NV product a *lot* :) Thank you. (as an aside...

Crikey. That must be one hell of a cleanup script. Does anything of the original video survive? ;) :) not a lot. Crikey is about right, source is Aussie OTA broadcast of fast ball sports action with 36 players on a very large grassed field and the broadcaster almost destroys the video with ...
