Re: [RESOLVED] fps?
OMG, coming back to the forum this morning just to find how this thread has developped. You guys have really frightened me, I am devastated. You just made me think how to secure my electricity supply. How to backup and restore data without electric power? Trust that the power will return? Have you r...

Re: fps?
Oh yes, you are perfectly right! The card is ancient as is the HP desktop as is its owner! But well maintained and regularly cleaned and lubricated, I promise! Still with the first original and slow harddisk, still running without a bad sector..... reliable stuff. So far - for my purpose - I have no...

I re-downloaded, but no avail.
DGIndexNV 2052 32bit: 15fps; same in dialog and in dgi file
DGIndexNV 2052 64bit: 15fps; same in dialog and in dgi file
DGAVCIndex 1.09 32bit: 18fps (which is correct)

[RESOLVED] fps?
Just wondering why DGIndexNV reports the framerate of this clip as 15.000 fps while other tools report it (correctly, I believe) as 18.000 fps ?

Re: [RESOLVED] DGSource or DirectShow with FieldDeinterlace()
Hi Donald
You are fast! Nice to see that you had already fixed it when I returned to the PC. I tried and it works ok now.

DGSource or DirectShow with FieldDeinterlace()
With DirectShow as source filter the combing detection parameters of the decomb filter (like full=true/false, threshold=xxx) work as expected: Show=true indicates "Clean Frames" and "Combed Frames", and only the combed frames are getting deinterlaced according with the dthreshold parameter. With DGS...

[RESOLVED] DGMVCSource
There seems to be an error in the DGMVCSource100b25.zip. All unzippers fail to extract the files. I re-downloaded a few times, but no luck. I can unzip the .txt only but not the binaries.
Edit:
Would it make sense to add a subforum dedicated to DGMVCSource?

When DGIndexNV_Sharc.exe starts correctly I get in the debug window like:

When it fails to start I get nothing.

Re: DGindexNV.exe starting poorly
Nice helmets! Reminds me of Saul's partner ..... And yes, putting DGindexNV.exe in Defender's exception list eliminated the problem. Thanks. Edit: Too early joy .... the problem is back. Even disabling Defender does not help. Must be something else. Rest assured that I have no reverse-engineering to...

Re: DGindexNV.exe starting poorly
Excellent point, Aleron! After you mentioned it I remembered that AVG at one time was blocking DGIndexNV 64-bit. Also, terminate all reverse-engineering tools before starting DGIndexNV. I actively look for them and refuse to proceed if I see them running. My license doesn't include the right to rev...

Re: DGindexNV.exe starting poorly
You might also want to check the scan logs of your antivirus program, if you have one. It might be taking a long time to scan DGIndexNV.exe and thus delaying the startup process. Try temporarily disabling your active virus protection and then launching DGIndexNV.exe to see if it opens faster/on the...

Re: DGindexNV.exe starting poorly
Never saw anything like that, nor can I think of any explanation. If you open a cmd window and type "DGIndexNV" it sometimes does nothing? Is that what you are saying? No error message, it just returns the DOS prompt? Regarding having to click a few times on the exe icon that's standard to start a ...

[RESOLVED] DGindexNV.exe starting poorly
Since a while DGindexNV.exe starts very poorly, means I have to click a few times on the .exe in order to start it up. I don't know since which version or slipstream or W10 update the problem exists. It also seems that starting it via CLI is sometimes a problem, i.e. it may just not start. Has anyon...
