Re: EVO files support
I don't support EVO and don't intend to as it is a dead format (bluray won, remember?). Youll have to demux it first with EAC3TO or equivalent.

If your only issue is the -at option I can easily fix that, as long as you tell me how to reproduce it.
It's a shame you don't have an nVidia card.

Re: QuickSync indexer?
It's certainly a possibility. I'd have to get a processor with QuickSync. Can you recommend something that will drop in as a replacement for my i7 980X? I don't want to give up CPU power if possible.

Re: Dup filter - Remove frames
Dup() does not remove frames. It replaces near equal frames with equal frames.
You need decimation. Before I tell you about that I need to know if there is an audio track or is it just video? If there is audio we have to maintain AV sync and our choices will be reduced.

I wonder what ever happened to Larry Lujack? I mighta guessed if anyone would get into trouble with words it woulda been him. You're prolly too young to know about him... Ha ha, I'm probably older than you! Let's just say that when Larry started at WCFL Chicago I was just starting university. Larry...

Good idea, Joe, because the existing thread was based on a bad release, so the results are only semi-valid.

You didn't tell me what "HO" means. In the context "nappy-headed ho", which got a radio guy in trouble, I understand it. But in your context...?

Re: Glitch in decoding
I've had nothing but trouble with my 520. It didn't error on this stream but it is an under-powered piece of junk IMHO. As soon as the high-end cards with VP5 arrive, I'm junking it. Since your HO is so well-respected here and elsewhere, I wonder if you can elaborate on your findings re: your 520? ...

What I didn't know was that deinterlace=1 forces fieldop=2 (as per the manual). Is there a technical reason for this? Yes, but I can't remember right now what it was. If you search you'll find an explanation because I remember writing about it several times. Also I understand the descriptions of Ho...

I'll try to reproduce it tonight but note that I make no claims regarding proper functioning with MT builds. You are on your own in MT land.

I don't see any board settings to control that.

Re: License stopped working.
If Windows decides to change things upon a machine reconfiguration, I have no control over that. I also do not know how Windows implements things so I can't explain it. I use a standard Windows API to get the info I need. I advise you to *add* the new license to the license file, keep the old one in...

Sorry, I don't have anything that will serve that FOURCC (MPEG) via Avisynth. As a rule I don't install things I don't need, so can you give it to me in HUFYUV, LAG, Divx, or some standard codec? Thanks for your understanding.

For a few days several forum functions, such as replying to a post, were broken, because my host upgraded their MySQL and it was not compatible with the phpBB version I had installed. I have corrected my phpBB databases and these problems are now fixed.

VBVChecker 1.9
VBVChecker 1.9 is now available for download from the DGDecNV page.
Version 1.8 was checking only the first key in the license.txt file, as it was never updated to support multiple keys in the license file. It has now been so updated and should solve licensing issues with multikey license files.
