thd+ac3 file in dgdecnv 240
Hi. Thank you for adding an option. Just did a quick test with a 4k movie a bit more than 2 hours long. 2.39 finnished in 2m 5s 2.40 changed to creating thd+ac3 after 2m 3s and then finnished after an additional 1m 37s. Almost the same time as it took to demux. That is not 3-4 minutes like started y...

thd+ac3 file in dgdecnv 240
Hi. Sorry if this should have been in another thread. Just updated to 240, and oh-my. Could the change to write thd+ac3 track please be either reverted, or made optional? It takes 3-4 mínutes to do that file, and with all the other speed optimazations that has been done over the past year or so, for...

Skip last m2ts not working?
Just ran across a couple of BDs with a tiny m2ts at the end and skip last seemed to work fine. Using DGDemux directly, though Yes, it seems to work in DGdemux. But I hardly ever use that. I use DGIndexNV since I need the dgi file anyway. See no reason to demux first, and then index afterwards. renols

Skip last m2ts not working?
Hi. Lately I have had some discs with a small m2ts at the start and at the end. If I don't remove the one at the start, everything gets messed up. I would also like to remove the one at the end, but even if I mark "Skip last M2TS", the last m2ts file doesn't get removed from the list. And it is also...

Hi. I am not quite sure what you expect. The encoding happens in the CPU and not in the GPU. It doesn't really matter what you use to serve the frames in my opinion. dgdecnv can probably serve much higher FPS to x265, but x265 is the bottleneck here. Try to run the avs file in avsmeter, and you will...

I think it was mentioned in the binary update notification. Just delete the audio file, or replace it with happy jingles or whatever

mkvextract path?
Hi.
I have never had to enter the path to mkvextract if it was in the same folder as dgindexnv.exe, but at least in 237 I have to enter the path, or dgindexnv tells me that mkvextract is missing.
Not a big deal, but is it on purpose that this change has been made?

Frame properties support for Avisynth+
Thanks for info. Never had any issues with r2772, but I also just use 3-4 lines in my avs files. DGSource ConvertBits(10) (only for 4k) crop Spline36Resize (if needed) Most of the time I don't use SetFilterMTMode or Prefetch, since with the few lines I have in my avs file, I find that it slows my fp...

Frame properties support for Avisynth+
Ok. Guess I will test it then. Just tested avisynth 3.70 compared to the r2772 with avsmeter 390. With a 4k source 3.70 is about 4% slower than r2772 (with the same avs file). I know that for 4k, CPU is the bottleneck, but why upgrade to something that is slower than what one is currently using :-) ...

Will 236 still work with "older " avisynth+ versions?
Am using avisynth+ r2772 and have no real need to update, since it works fine.

@ Sonic3R Curly is a man's man, no she! Look at the MPLS chapter count and the duration. If still in doubt do a preview. @ renols Can you please test this version with the skip first M2TS option? I intentionally do not save the state of the skip first checkbox in the Choose MPLS File dialog. Use th...

Cannot demux on particular UHD bluray with DoVi
Hi. Yes, that actually seems to work. When I open disk and enter the demux menu, I just see a lot of 2 channel DTS HDMA tracks. If I then go to the open menu, and delete the first m2ts file (00005.m2ts) it looks like dgindexnv "opens" the disk again, and the demux menu now looks correct, with TrueHD...

Cannot demux on particular UHD bluray with DoVi
Hi. The problem with that disc, is that it has an 18 second m2ts file which has very different audios than the main m2ts. bdinfo can somehow show the correct info, but eac3to, dgindexnv, tsmuxer and what else, will show "wrong" information. You will have to use dgdemux and select "skip first m2ts" ...

OK boys and girls, try this out: http://rationalqm.us/misc/DGIndexNV_test.rar Right click and Save As if your browser fscks with you. You have to update with the DGDemux in there too. Hmm, $137.00 for that. Can't justify that. I'll have a look at the bdinfo and tsmuxer source code to see if there is any enlightenment in there. I can tell you that we won't implement a BD menu parser. EDIT: I found a rip on-hand that contains hidden tracks so I'll use that to investigate. Hi Rocky...

Hi. The ones marked with an * in bdinfo as I understand it, are tracks that are not shown in the menu when the disc is played back, and the tracks can't be selected from the audio/subs menu during playback either. Meaning they are "hidden" from the user. On the disc in question when the disc is inse...

Hi. If what I request is because I am not aware of how things work, let me apoligize ahead of time. My request concerns discs with more than one version of a movie and using seamless branching. Hi. Just curious. What is the status of this crop scan feature? Right now I am loading the dgi file into megui, and then tell it to do a mod2 autocrop. Change from 222 to 224 regarding local caracters?
Hi. I compared the 222 and the 224 dgi files, and it is quite clear that UTF8 is the problem. Depending on what program I use to open the file, the "æ" looks correct or just some weird sign. I can also just make sure that I always rename the source file. This is kinda like I had to remove some manif...

Change from 222 to 224 regarding local characters?
Hi. I updated to 224 today and there seems to be some change with localization between 222 and 224. I have a .ts file with the letter "æ" in the filename. With 222 it works just fine. After changing to 224 I have to rename the file to not have the "æ" letter in the file name. I am sure it is some UT...
