NVIDIA 551.xx Driver Breaks DGDecNV
The new GeForce 551.68 Driver has a NVENC (and dec?) fix. I only see 551.61 available right now and that version is still broken. You must have access to early beta release? ;) Version: 551.61 WHQL Release Date: 2024.2.22 Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 Language: English (US) File S...

DGSource() New Generation
Just saw this and wanted to take a look but the link isn't working/available.
[UPDATE] just dawned on me that should try https://www.rationalqm.us/misc and saw that it's up to test5 now. I'll give it a whirl. Thanks for the continued efforts.

NVIDIA 551.xx Driver Breaks DGDecNV
I had a chance to do most of the recommendations on the laptop with no luck. :( I did NOT use DDU yet. I did completely remove all NVIDIA components, downloaded the new 551.61 and did a fresh install. I'll try DDU as I have time this weekend. The laptop is using the RTX 3050 Ti. I did grab GPU-Z and...

NVIDIA 551.xx Driver Breaks DGDecNV
I found 2 clips that do open when 551 driver is installed. Here's the media info for the 2 files. Both are 4x3 content (1440x1080 & 640x480) and one is AVC rather than HEVC. NVIDIA 551.xx Driver Breaks DGDecNV
Looks like something's changed in 551 driver that's affecting opening files in DGIndex. Reverting back to 546.xx works again. This happened both on my server with a GeForce GTX 1060 and laptop with an RTX 3050 Ti. Image attached of error. Clicking OK exists app as stated. 2024-02-22 19_45_08-nvidia ...

EAC3TO Requests and General Discussion
Not sure if the -test switch is even relevant anymore but I use it occasionally just to make sure the version is correct and noticed the noted lines below today. Just an FYI as it doesn't seem to affect eac3to functionality. eac3to -test eac3to (v3.47) is installed Nero Audio Decoder (Nero 7) works ...

I just grabbed the 3.43 download but it's being flagged with a virus. Here's the link to the virus info that Edge/Microsoft provides. Just wanted to be sure it's safe. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/threats/malware-encyclopedia-description?name=Trojan%3AScript%2FWacatac.B!ml&threatid=2147735503

EAC3TO Bug Reports and Feature Requests Only
I used eac3to all the time so am happy I stumbled onto this thread. Now I can report any issues I may run into. Thank you to all that are working on continuing development of this tool. Much appreciated.

@ AYColumbia Can you please test this: https://rationalqm.us/misc/DGIndexNV_AYColumbia.zip If it's good for you I will make a slipstream. List of X265_CL Supported Switches
I grabbed a log of one of my HD encodes that uses strings. I only use the x265 line from the dgi file for UHD sources btw. "E:\StaxRip\StaxRip-v2.29.0-x64\Apps\Encoders\x265\x265.exe" --reader-options library=E:\StaxRip\StaxRip-v2.29.0-x64\Apps\FrameServer\AviSynth\AviSynth.dll --crf 21 --crf-min 16...

List of X265_CL Supported Switches
Hi, one more question on this switch. The x265 docs have the values as strings so am wondering if it would be "better" to change the switches to use the string values rather than the number? Maybe add a switch/option that would write these as strings instead? Doing this would also help to use that i...

Apologies for the late response. Thanks very much for the info. So far haven't seen any issues. Seems to report correctly. I just did random checking with MediaInfo and was curious what all the available switches were.

List of X265_CL Supported Switches
Hi, I just discovered the X265_CL in the DGI file and find it very useful as I use x265 software encoder. Thank you so much for adding this feature. Is there a complete list of the switches supported? I ask because some files are different, i.e., source 1 X265_CL --colorprim 9 --transfer 16 --colorm...

Thanks for the response. No worries, was just curious and figured it may be a lot of work. I rarely see VP9 used honestly.

[RESOLVED] External Drive Bay Affecting Machine ID and Using Up Licenses
Hi, I wanted to ask about this because it seems like the machine ID shouldn't change. On my media server, I've added a couple external hard drives via USB and I have a standard 2-drive bay (also USB) that I occasionally use to transfer data. These have not affected any of the versions of dgdecnv up ...

Re: Recent x264 Unable To Load DGDecodeNV.dll
Thanks for the update AY. Maybe you had something checked wrong and didn't notice. Happens to me a lot. Not so long ago I accidentally pumped that E15 crap into my gas tank and had to stare at my lit check engine light for 300 miles. Still, thanks for posting to warn about this. It shows you...

Re: Recent x264 Unable To Load DGDecodeNV.dll
I found the source of the problem and posted the fix on the doom9 thread. Essentially, I followed admin's lead and grabbed directly from kosimar's site too and immediately noticed the file sizes of my current x264 matched the x86_64 versions rather than the x86. I replaced the 64 versions with the 3...

Re: Recent x264 Unable To Load DGDecodeNV.dll
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try all suggested options and report back. It's strange since the only thing that changed was my x264 via the megui update process. Maybe something got clobbered there or the new build expects a DLL that wasn't included in the packaged update. I'm glad to hear it worked...

[RESOLVED] Recent x264 Unable To Load DGDecodeNV.dll
Hi,
Is anyone here having the issue I posted here at doom9? I've confirmed the issue on both my laptop and my main computer. So if you use x264 and plan on updating, you might want to hold off I guess.
