Hello

Thank you so much for all this effort, work and resolts! There're not many like you..
I would like to embed subtitles on video so that they can be played by a regular dvd device.
I got VirtualDub-1.9.11-AMD64 to do so but could not load the plug-in called Subtitler.vdf.
The process that I'm following is this: From the menu bar I choose Video and then Filters. Then I press Add and Load. From my files, I choose Subtitler.vdf, which I have decompressed and putted in a plug-ins created folder within the VirtualDub main folder. Then a message appears as this
Cannot load plugin module "C:\Program Files\VirtualDub-1.9.11-AMD64\plug-ins\Subtitler.vdf": The %1 is not a valid application Win32.
Ok, it's apparent that I'm following wrong steps! Where did I go wrong?
The following are my computers characteristics:
Proccesor: AMD Athlon(tm) II P340 Dual-Core Processor 2.20 Ghz
Internal Memory (RAM): 3 GB
Oper. System: 64-bit
Windows Version: Windows 7 Home Premium, service pack 1

I understand that I shouldn't bother you for something so plain but, this how far I got.. The very beggining!

Thank you for your time

Hi Costa,

Neither VirtualDub nor Subtitler.vdf are my tools, so I can't help with them. Not because I don't want to but because I am clueless about them.

Can you please ask at the VirtualDub forum:

http://forums.virtualdub.org/

I guess you need a 64-bit version of Subtitler, but ask at the mentioned forum as I mentioned.

Get a 64 bit version of directvobsub/VSfilter : http://xhmikosr.1f0.de/index.php?folder ... ZzZmlsdGVy
Install it, and take the VSFilter.dll file from install directory, put it in the VDbub pluggin directory and rename it on VSFilter.vdf.
You'll now have the probably more efficient subtitler engine pluggin.
