DGDemux crashes

Post by ggtop »

Hi,

today I loaded a BD image with DGDemuxGUI pointing to the root.
The playlist pane reports: ERROR: Could not open the MPLS file.

Clicking onto that message line crashes DGDemux.

INFO: Pointing DGDemux to BDMV subfolder makes the error above disappear

Please give the full path of your disk root directory (copy and paste in case there are special characters) and show a dir command executed in there.

DGDemux crashes

Hi Rocky,
root name is drive E: (label: WASABI_BD)

Interestingly DGDemux reports "E:\" in field "Disk".
When pointing to E:\BDMV instead it displays "E:"

If you need more/other info let me know.

Code: Select all

That is highly unusual to not have a named directory above BDMV. For example:

E:\WASABI_BD\BDMV

I'll look into whether your scheme can be supported.

Obviously we have a misunderstanding. It is just a mounted image in a virtual drive called "E:".
Like on all physical BD discs BDMV is a directory directly under root.

That works.

BTW There may be other occasions DGDemux reports ERROR. It should not crash when clicking on the text. That was my initial report which I can't test any longer :-)

Re-download 54. I fixed that ticking the ERROR text thing. To test it, browse disk and select a location that is not a disk, then hit the ERROR text in the MPLS list. Now nothing should happen (no crash).

DGDemux crashes

Hi Sherman,

thank you. Issue is fixed.

Small cosmetic thing: When I press e.g. "Demux" in the GUI without valid input files a popup is opened "ERROR" "Nothing to demux". That box is not modal so you can close the main window, but the process remains and so the message box.

BTW You shipped your DGDemux.ini file in the latest version. Guess it was not your intent...

Have a nice weekend,

Will make all the boxes modal in the next release.

Just wanted to show a sample INI file contents. I re-named it so it doesn't get used inadvertently.
