QP txt file?

Every demux i create has a QP txt file, can someone tell me what the QP txt file is for as I've noticed it but dont know why its created?

It's typically used to force an encoder to assign I frames at specific points, typically scene or chapter starts. For example, see --qpfile here:

OK thanks for clearing that up for me. Its basically if I want to encode using the exact i-frames for chapters.

Yes, it's just a chapters file in another form.
