[RESOLVED] DGAVCDec alternative for multiple files

I know DGAVCIndex is not developed any longer, but I've been using it successfully for a while for indexing AVC transport streams. Now, however, I have a video that's split into a few hundred ten-second files and I've realised that DGAVCIndex doesn't support multiple files.

From what I've read around it seems that DGDecNV and DGDecIM are what replaced it, and since I don't have NVidia GPU is DGDecIM what I need?

Here's a sample.

You can use DGDecIM to open those files with two caveats:

1. I don't recall how many files you can open at once. There's a chance you have too many files to open at once.

2. You may run into audio sync issues combining many fragments.

Another option is to concatenate the files before loading them into DGAVCDec.

How can I concatenate them?

And, if it's not too much to ask, could you copy those samples and try to load 550 files so that I know if it will work if I get DGDecIM.

If you want to use free software, AVIDemux can join clips, but audio sync could be problematic. Something like Video ReDo would probably be your best bet if you're willing to use payware.

The limit in DGDecIM is 2048 files.

It is too much to ask me to make 550 files to test this.

Doing the concatenation would require a custom application.

I would fix your capture situation so that you don't break your stream into so many tiny pieces.

So I should be able to load them with DGDecIM?

Sure. And if things don't work out or you're not happy with it I'll be happy to re-fund.
My main priority is to have happy users. Be happy!
