Guys, the heuristic search process has not yet located a suitable reference frame. No known global optimization methods are helping. Even Albert seems perplexed.

Meanwhile Bullwinkle has just tasked me with installing trim and baseboard for his entire house. Painting it too. Demons and werewolves dog me from all directions. Somebody help me!

I'm so sorry guys. While we were shifting reference frames unfortunately we went a little fast and created a mini black hole. Somehow DG got swallowed up inside. Albert said that although the well-known solutions of his field equations do not allow information (or configurations of matter) to escape a black hole intact, there are some obscure solutions that we can leverage to get DG out. We'll be trying these solutions tomorrow and we are hopeful. If we fail, well, 'Sherman Tools' doesn't sound so bad. Am I wrong?

I told you. Little Shermie is murdering DG. An accident, ha!

Guys, I was just kidding about Sherman Tools! And I have some exciting news. Albert has been poring over his field equations and has identified a possible solution that predicts a wormhole joining the inside and outside of a black hole. He thinks it could allow for transport of matter intact between the inside and outside of the black hole. At a minimum it could allow us to communicate to DG through the event horizon. Hopefully, even if we cannot extricate him, DG will be able to continue his important work on DG tools.

I thought matter gets stretched and broken up when entering a black hole. Could DG have survived that?

That's a great question! Actually, it's just a very small black hole so the forces are not so large. But anyway, we believe the black hole actually formed around DG (like dust particles acting as foci for bubble creation) and that he did not have to pass through the event horizon.

That's reassuring.

The evidence of Sherman's murderous act remains hidden in a black hole. How convenient!

Not a bad job, Sherm. Thank you.

Now, my stable needs cleaning out and get me a new salt lick. Then you can work on making DGIndexNV demuxing faster.

First a quick update on the DG situation. We have an equation that will release DG from the remote singularity but it requires swapping it for a singularity right here in our local reference frame. The equation guarantees that DG will re-appear here locally. However, the initial conditions we must assume are too imprecise to predict with any certainty the fate of local mass existing prior to the swap. Everything could be fine and we will celebrate at the Moose Lodge, or DG will reconstitute alone in a new local singularity. Another problem is the energy required to initiate the swap. There is currently insufficient energy generation capability on earth at this time to trigger the swap. May have to resort to some of that E= mc^2 magic. Sherman and I continue to investigate possibilities but at some point perhaps we need to think of DG as an inspiring memory, sad as that may be.

Sherman and I offer our Best Wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all! It has been an exciting year and we tip our hats to our loyal forum members that inspire us so much.

That's so sweet, Albert! Let me know if I can help with any of your equations and stuff. I have great handwriting and I even studied Calligraphy.

Kisses,
Britney

And now I'm worried about what's happening to DG in real life !
None of my business of course, so I wait and watch with hope.

As do we all. Albert just told me a few hours ago that he has been able to find a solution to his field equations that will bring back DG, and that he and Sherman are going to try it later this evening. The only negative is that the equations need a human to stand in as proxy, for which Sherman has volunteered, bless his soul. He feels guilty about his role in this affair. If the swap succeeds, DG will be back but with a non-zero chance of Sherman being stranded in the future in his place.

Standby...

Guys, I'm willing to take a bullet to get DG back. I am confident that if I get stuck in the future that Albert will find a way to get me back. Besides, what's so bad about the future? Albert says it's all relative.
