Feature request: ifo parsing

Would be nice if one could feed DGIndex with a ifo file and:
a. use it to output some general infos about the source to command line (audio-, video-, subtitle-streams, tile, chapters, angles)
b. tell DGIndex to only use a specific title, angle and may be chapter range

Like always: No fuss if this is too much, it's mainly a convenient option, which would allow me (and others) to skip an additional PGCDemux step, before feeding DGIndex wiht the .vob files of a DVD. :)

I rip the disc with DVD Decrypter's IFO mode, which seems to work pretty well (after I've determined which title is which).

I normally rip my DVDs 1:1 since I play them through my media player which supports menus&co and only convert them for playback on my mobile devices (tablet, laptop,..)

Mount the DVD ISO in a virtual drive, then use DVD Decrypter to rip the "disc" in IFO mode?

a. I then would use PGCDemux instead of DVD Decrypter.
b. that doesn't really help with the feature request.

I'm trying to figure out why you want IFO parsing when there are already other ways to split the VOBs by chapter before you get to using Don's tools. What benefit do you gain by using DGMPGDec to split VOBs by chapter instead of splitting the VOBs when you rip?

a. I don't want to split my dvd by chapter,...
b. Like I wrote before I prefer to keep my DVDs intact for backup and playback through media player purposes
No clue what you can't understand.

Hi Selur. This has been requested several times in the past and I have answered that I don't have any plans, motivation, or energy to implement it. Sorry about that.

Haven't given up hope that DGIndex&Co get DVD title&chapter support some day.

DVDs are still a thing? I suppose it could be on the agenda. Why not? Marking unresolved.
