They should crop keeping in mind the max resolution that was scanned. If no analysis had been done, they should behave the same as before, i.e. the current frame.

Thank you. Lemme think about it. Using your way I would need an indicator to show whether a scan had been performed.

What is the status of this crop scan feature?

Right now I am loading the dgi file into megui, and then tell it to do a mod2 autocrop.

Not sure how many samples it picks throughout the movie, but it only takes a few seconds.

To be honest I haven't checked with a movie like that Batman one, that has changing AR and actually doesn't need cropping since the widest/tallest frame is full width/height. Guess I will have to find a disc that have such and AR change, and see if megui actually detects it.

But would be great if it could be done in dgindexnv as well

Am I right that mod2 can't be done due to limitations in the video driver?

DGIndexNV currently uses only the frame on display. I may add a scan but it's not high priority.

Cropping mod 2 from the top or left is not supported by CUVID.
