Extract 2D stream from Minuscule 3D

Post by Guest 2 »

Can't find any reference about 3D/2D demuxing with DGIndexNV.

I have this BD that I bought for 1€ at grocery store :D

Tried to demux with DGIndexNV and it can see 2 mpls, one for 3D and the other for the 2D movie.

When trying to demux the 2D, I get too short .dgi ad audio, i.e. something like 3 minutes. :?

The BD title is Minuscule (tt2368672 on IMDB).

Despite the time discrepancies, I can play 00007.mpls or generate a 2D MKV with MakeMKV.

What happens with DGDemux with 00007.mpls?

You can also open the 3D one 00002.mpls and try it that way.

So, 00002.m2ts is only 388MB but 00002.ssif is 18GB. It looks like a bad rip to me.

Some 3D movies have that structure.

Try with MakeMKV and it will generate a correct stream.

Eventually you were right.

The program I was using to rip files was not able to deal with 3D in a proper way.

Sorry to have wasted your time. :(
