[RESOLVED] Using DGDecNV with CCE

Post by hank315 »

Hi Don,

Thanks for the new DGDecNV 2027 release.
It works flawlessly with HCenc and it loads OK in MPC, but I can't get it to work with CCE basic.

A simple script:
DGMultiSource("F:\movies\CasinoRoyale\enc\casino2.dgi")
crashes CCE immediately, source is a DVD rip.
If I mount the avs script using the Avisynth Virtual File System (AVFS) and load the avi in CCE, all is OK.

Anybody has an idea why CCE can't load the script directly?

I just upgraded to 2.70.01.16, the latest version from the CCE site.
As expected, same crash.
So it must be something else...

Hank, can you give me details of the crash? DrWatson?

Also, try ConvertToYUY2() at the end of the script.

What version of Avisynth is it?

Version 2.70.01.05 works fine for me here.

Adding ConvertToYUY2() didn't solve it

Those are strange driver version numbers!

Can you open the Nvidia control panel, do Help/System Information and post a capture of it? I'm expecting a number like 257.21.

About this issue, I let it rest for a while.
Just installed the latest version and it worked flawlessly with CCE.
I guess the main problem was between the chair and the keyboard
