Burned out image in DGIndexNV

Post by Guest 2 »

I have a strange issue with DGIndexNV and a HEVC mkv.

When opening with DGIndexNV, it shows

while every other player reads it correctly

I can't understand if it is a display driver issue or a DGIndexNV issue.

When read from AVS with DGSource, the colors are OK, so it's probably DGIndexNV only related.

@Rocky I sent you a PM but it stays in Outbox instead of Sent.

Any other way to get me the stream? I don't have or want a torrent client. Can you FTP it to my site?

Yup.

Just found that it is properly rendered when I disable HDR to SDR.

Currently if the stream is 10-bit and you enable HDRtoSDR then that is what you get, i.e., it wasn't checked whether the stream was actually HDR or not. I will add a check and apply the conversion only if the stream is signaling HDR.

Thank you for the report.
